Calamity Jane was a frontier, a courageous women of the old wild west, and I can relate to that (living in the more civilized wild west now). I like her guts, that was rather uncommon
in 18/19th century.

Do you consider yourself courageous?

I don't have a problem taking risks, but I don't know if that makes me courageous. . .I've never really thought about it. I try to live without fear as much as possible.

Do you get asked about your user name a lot?

Not really! Most Americans are familiar with Calamity Jane,
and I think one of the private tv channels has a series about
her (I don't watch tv, so I don't know exactly).

Do you like watching tv?

My tenth best trick is that I can sing the names of the States in 30 seconds alphabetically.

Was your high school experience like the ones depicted in American films?

I can't answer that because I didn't go to an American school.

Are you trying to steal the thread for Americans?

Nope. I wrote 'American films,' not 'as an American who grew up watching American films in America (How many times can I write 'America?);' although I can understand why you might think I was assuming you were American. I've been asked this question before by friends from all over. Regardless, any nationality could weigh in on their experiece vs. media interpretation.

Are you Canadian?

Hm, I just read yesterday, that one blinks more often if
the opposite sex one speaks to is attractive. You slow down
the blinking process....

What does that tell us?

Pay attention Cal.I said meeting her.Usually when I meet a lady she has been weighing me up for a while without my noticing and this has caused her to be blinking at 50 to the dozen.Once I meet her I can slow it down with some soothing repartee.

Does that straighten out any misunderstandings?

That you probably read the same article after checking your hotmail that I did. I always end up reading those things. Such a time waster, though.

Do you spend more time reading things on-line or reading books?

Oh, I'm sorry, I misunderstood (doing too many things at once).
Yes, yes, it does make sense: they fall asleep once you talk
to them Very Happy

I need to be goofy, otherwise I cry over the horrendous
terror attack in London. Is everyone safe in your surrounding?

Listen love.We try not to pay much attention. We feel that hands the terrorists the victory they seek.
There are a lot of people not safe all over the world.
It didn't even slow down the big cricket match. It won't do them any good. They will lose this war big time. We've been blitzed many times.Don't cry.You can't see targets with tears in your eyes.

What is your social life like?
