@TheCobbler,
Would it be too much to ask to at least not take full pages for these endless political cartoons?

I'm not asking you to shut up, or anything. I'm just asking maybe to spare us some of the overwhelming-ness of the cartoons. Maybe limiting the size or just being selective enough so that it eased the feeling of being bombarded or spammed.

@snood,
This is a political thread unless you did not notice....

Cartoons are a way of getting ideas across. I am also not short on writing long posts here instead of err, "one liner attacks"...

I will not go to YOUR threads and try and silence you if you can pay me the same courtesy....

@TheCobbler,
No one tried to silence you. I asked if you could reduce the size of the cartoons. It would be a small courtesy, but evidently too large to ask of you. Fine.

Lie # 3. Lack of decent paying jobs account for hunger in the U S. Wouldent hurt to make churches pay taxes rather than build million dollar churches and supply preachers with $100,000 cars.

@Baldimo,

Obama was in to much of a hurry to declare "victory" in Iraq to care what happened to the weapons they left over there. This is why ISIS has so many US made weapons. They weren't sold to them, well some of them were as Obama was arming rebels in Syria, and Syria is the birthplace of ISIS. Once they started moving into Iraq, which was stable when Bush left office, they started taking over the vehicles and weapons left behind. Some were taken by when they defeated Iraqi military units.

You do like to rewrite history, Baldimo. US troops left Iraq under an agreement between Bush and Iraq. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Withdrawal_of_U.S._troops_from_Iraq

The military set up the withdrawal plan including what would happen with weapons and ordinance.
http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2011/09/26/iraq-withdrawal-us-bases-equipment_n_975463.html

The CIA didn't provide any weapons to Syrian rebels until 2013 and then the weapons were NOT US made. http://www.cnn.com/2013/09/12/politics/syria-arming-rebels/index.html

@parados,
Even if we didn't have the security agreement by the previous administration already in place, no matter when we left, there would still have been chaos there. Our going there didn't do anything but get rid of Saddam Hussein. The factions there have been fighting forever and unless there is something to unite them perhaps, they always will fight as it seems to be more of a religious and cultural difference that separates them. The religious one would probably be the hardest one to solve and could only be solved by them from what I had read about the subject over the years. (mostly on informed comment by Juan Cole)

@parados,
I'm not rewriting history. Why did Obama do a victory lap after all the troops were out of Iraq and spend the entire 2012 elections cycle talking about his success in the Iraq withdrawal?

As usual, Obama doesn't have to take any blame with there is blow back, he can always point the finger back to Bush. Did he not do a victory lap after the withdrawal?

That was Obama taking advantage, he is not above being political.

It seems you are the liar. You never provide proof, you only like to say I'm lying and leave it at that. Proof is what is required. A difference of opinion is also not lying.

ISIS started in Syria not Iraq. They were armed by Obama so that they could fight the civil war, and they changed their minds.

Lack of marketable skills is the reason. If you have been working at a fast food joint for 5 years, what type of skills do you really have and why haven't you taken those skills you do have and moved to another job?

People find themselves in a bad position because of the choices they make, not because the man is screwing them.

@Baldimo,
Really? When did Obama arm Syrian rebels that became ISIL?

You don't get to make up facts Baldimo. McCain was complaining in 2013 that Obama wasn't sending any arms to Syrian rebels.

@revelette2,
Of course they don't like Trump, he isn't falling for their BS, and is actually concerned with US citizens and not illegal immigrants. Get rid of the illegal immigrants, and there would be more jobs for US citizens. If they are able bodied but don't want the job, then they don't need to eat. We all take a job at some point we don't want...
