I think it has more to do with lazy employers and a system that lets them get away with hiring illegal labor.

If you republicans want to implement a E-verify process then by all means, you control the government right now.

My brothers and I worked on the farms in Northern California when we were kids during the summer months, and we were city kids. We picked fruits, harvested veggies, and I did swamp work. Swamp work was loading the truck box full of fruits. It was hard work, and I think we got paid .01c/box.

I'm not a republican. I support e-verify and think it should be mandatory for all employers to use.

It’s disgraceful. What in God’s name did they think would happen once these children we taken away from their parents. No one knows if these children are getting sick, getting bullied by older kids or the interment camp guards. Children alone are easy marks for child predators and exploiters. What type of human being everthought it would be a good idea to subject children to torment, misery and indignity to make a point. And really, what is the point exactly?
