@Brandon9000,
What is your point Brandon? No one, I mean NO ONE, is trying to take away law abiding, SANE people's guns away...
Regulation means, don't sell guns to robbers and terrorists. Check people out, see who they are and how stable a life they lead before you sell them military grade weapons...
Everyone agrees it is okay to have a weapon to defend your home but no one agrees that drug addicts, violent criminals and those on the suicide watch need a semi automatic military grade weapon.
A simple background check can tell a gun dealer a lot about a person and how stable their life is.
It is like giving a bank loan to a 3 time embezzler who has had 4 bankruptcies and done time in corporate prison for theft... Would any sane loan officer consider a large loan to them a risk? Yes. ...and by denying them a loan does this mean the loan officer is against granting loans in general? No. The same process should be applied when selling guns.
In a bank the fraudulent loan is paid for by the general public who have to pick up the tab for a bad loan. With guns, innocent people pay with their lives for a bad gun sale while republicans, gun manufacturers and the NRA make out like bandits! This madness has got to stop! Profiting from this money scheme is a detriment to our society and an immoral act of betrayal to its people.
