As I said it is not a big deal, but it is a pattern, and I figured it was time to say something and much to my surprise there is an attitude under the surface and denial that you need to deal with.

Why should he have praised Mrs Clinton? Mrs Clinton is not in a position of power. He had a go at Trump supporters because Trump, (if you may not have noticed,) is the ******* president right now.

You made a mistake, based, (not for the first time btw,) on your own lack of understanding, and then you got really nasty, and really preachy with it. There's nothing wrong with being a bit stupid at times, but what's unforgivable is your patronising tone and your refusal to admit you were wrong.

Trump is the president, yet you choose to give his supporters a free ride, discussing an imagined Clinton presidency instead of a very real Trump one, and attacking Snood into the bargain.

If Clinton's supporters are all as ignorant, disorganised and sanctimonious as you are it's no wonder Trump won.
