What's wrong Hinge, did I hurt your feelings?

Yes, I'm broken.

Quote:
Of course I did, it was a worthless point and doesn't address the lack of education for poor uneducated urban voters who vote for Dems.

So you read it and didn't realise it was written in Australia about Australia? It only had relevance because it was offering a point about university education generally creating a drift to the left. Whereas your point was that universities are hotbed of radical thought - which is typical of the simplistic concrete binary thinking you display regularly. In fact you then argued against your own point.

What really made me laugh about your "uneducated urban voters who vote for Dems is that you actually believe the Dems are left". Get outside your tiny world bubble. Then again, probably best you stay in it.

@edgarblythe,
There's far less corruption on the right than there is on the left.

Well personally I'd like to some evidence of that. Going to go look to the balance of corruption convictions.

Nope, not seeing it

But given my previous post to baldi - you could argue that all your corrupt politicians are right wing - just some are more right than others.

@hingehead,
Baldi could be accused of a lot of things, but being educated isn't one of them. His poor spelling, bad grammar, and inability to recognise when a source is very clearly Australian are proof of that. I have him on ignore because although his basic ignorance and inability to communicate properly can be forgiven, his bigotry can't.

Evidence? They don't need no steen-king evidence! Remember, Obama was a Kenyan Muslim Socialist Dictator, Trump actually won the popular vote, and facts ain't necessarily facts.

I did notice that, but you were attempting to apply it to the US. If you weren't, what relevance did it have to the US?

Quote:

Generally creating a drift to the left? Modern day universities do create a drift to the left not because being educated leans that way, but because the people who run those systems drift to the left and therefor push education towards the left. It is started in grade school and continues to push children that way for the entirety of their education.

Quote:

Specifically they are hotbeds of radical left-wing thought. Have you not noticed that the majority of the left-wing movements are stated in Universities? The 1960's peacemovement started in the Universities, in fact a majority of the anti-war movements start in the Uni's. Bernie Bro's? Occupy Wallstreet? BLM? Since you support these types of groups, I'm sure you don't think they are all that radical.

Like you or anyone else on this site is capable of any other type of thought.

How did I argue against my own point? Please explain.

In the US, the Dems are left. Sorry, but the US isn't going to sit or conform to what the rest of the world thinks of as "right" or "left" politics. It's all relative to one's own country, your opinion on the left/right spectrum is meaningless when it comes to US politics.

Your meme is funny, you seem to forget it is the US leftist who like to throw around the Nazi claim against those on the right. It's either Nazi or Fascist, which is funny because both Nazi and Fascist sprung up from the Socialist movements in their countries, and socialism is on the left side of the spectrum. Anarchy is what lies to the far right of the political system. From a US perspective, the right wing wants smaller and smaller govt. Have you heard of the true radical right wing group called Sovereign Citizens? Those are some right wing radicals. The farther you move to the right, the less and less govt you want until you reach Anarchy. Do you think it leads anywhere else?

I'm not going to reply to some other stupidities in your post, but this really is too ridiculous.

The Social Democratic Party (which would be "Socialists" in your terms) was founded as a political party decades before anyone thought of "Nazis" (leaving aside that 'Nazi' was short for the first name Ignatius in those days.
The German Workers' Party, a extreme right-wing party founded in the following-up of WWI, was named National Socialist German Workers' Party in 1920 to get more support from the working population (there were only 20 members in those days) ...

But to use your words: whatever you think of "right" or "left": the NSDAP was extreme right and the SPD centre-left to left.

Without doubts you can make up your own "history" of my country - but you can't change the historic facts.

@Walter Hinteler,
How is anything "workers party" or that is anti-capitalist be considered close to right wing? Is the link Nationalism or racism?

@Baldimo,
If you have a library card - look it up.
If you have access to other websites than to A2K and your conservative favourites - look it up in the internet

(Hints: WWI, Free Workers' Committee for a Good Peace, Thule society, Pan-Germanist Union ...)

As an aside: the workers organisations of the Catholic and Evangelical churches were ... a bit right of the centre, to name it cautiously.

And the Christian Trade Union Federation of Germany, more than 110 years existing, is ... well, certainly not left.

The first concentration camps in Germany were established soon after Hitler's appointment as chancellor in January 1933 - prisoners in the early concentration camps were German Communists, Socialists, Social Democrats, Roma, Jehovah's Witnesses, homosexuals, ...

Please don't try to explain, it will take too long, Baldi writes phrases like this, is long a classroom to sit with an understand person. And he's still trying to claim he went to college, a college where sci fi geeks get picked on no less.

When I was at uni, there were lots of sci fi types, and they didn't get picked on, mostly because the sorts who picked on them never made it to uni.

Baldi's lies get more ridiculous by the day.

You're right about his lack of empathy, nobody ever got murdered for being a sci fi geek, but plenty have been killed because of race gender or sexual orientation. It's quite pathetic to claim there's sort of equivalence.

Of course they did, who do you think the primary target of the Brownshirts was? Can you also name who the primary target of the "Night of the Long Knifes" was? The very people who helped bring Hitler to power.
