@bobsal u1553115,
Some of them did. Have you not seen all the white kids who think they live in the ghetto? Make their wanna be "gangs" and act all tough? There are quite a few kids who emulated inner city and rap culture. There is nothing wrong with this, I am a huge fan of rap and hip hop music. I just never got corn rows and wore saggy pants. When I lived in San Diego, there were white kids who copied the Hispanic kids in their dress and the way they acted. Beige shorts, tall white sock, white tank top tucked in...

Although I will say, for me, the mid-90's rap culture removed the veil of negative connotations of pot. I think it was people like Snoop Dog, Dre, and Cypress Hill who helped my age of people change their minds and paved the way in pop culture for the turn around we have seen on pot. On a good warm day, you will hear Dre pumping from my car as my grey ass head is bouncing to the music and I'm in full rap mode.

I think it was all of those lives degraded, all of those people sitting in jail, for doing something many of us enjoy and which the scientists dont think is worse than alcohol so far as health goes.

Party like a rockstar as grandma is pushed from her social safety-net!
It seems GOP governors have no problem living lavishly on the hard earned tax money of the middle class meant to pay for vital public services.

Dean Skelos resigns as New York's Senate majority leader amid corruption scandal
Source: NY Daily News

ALBANY — Embattled Senate Republican Majority Leader Dean Skelos has told his members he is stepping down from his leadership post, the Daily News has learned.

Skelos, who along with his son were hit with federal corruption charges May 4, made the announcement during a closed-door meeting with his Republican members, a source confirmed.

He is expected to be replaced by either Senate Education Committee Chairman John Flanagan (R-Suffolk County) or Senate Finance Committee Chairman John DeFrancisco (R-Syracuse).

@bobsal u1553115,
Shouldn't you be banned by now? It's been a few hours since you have been back on and I'm surprised to see you still on here. It seems you last a few hours before you piss off the admins and get booted. How many times this year so far? 3 or 4?

2. Helping the poor.

There is a difference between what they think the govt should do and what private charities should do. You guys on the left think govt should do it all, no matter the cost. Most religious people believe that private charities do a better job then govt charities. A majority of local churches have local out reach to the poor in their communities. They think their money is better suited to this then the govt taking it and telling them how it will be spent.

I'll start with this one. When are you going to admit that you are a Democrat? It's really is foolish to keep lying to yourself this way.

"President Obama has consistently driven wedges between people. And he perceives a difference on race, ethnicity, sexual orientation—wedge after wedge after wedge. I didn’t really imagine they were going to drive a wedge between the law and law-breakers. It is instinctive on the part of the president. That’s a level that I have not seen before."

Iowa Representative Steve King (the 2nd dumbest Congressman behind Louie Gohmert of TX) essentially blaming President Obama for the Baltimore riots. This guy actually holds a lot of power in Iowa where the primary season starts so he'll influence the Republican nomination. Scary.

Ex-Nevada GOP chairman gets year in prison for HOA fraud
Source: Associated Press

Former Nevada Republican Party Chairman Steve Wark has been sentenced to a year and a day in prison for his role in a multi-million dollar scheme to defraud homeowner associations in Las Vegas.

Wark, a Republican strategist who also once served as chairman of the Clark County GOP, pleaded guilty in 2011 to conspiracy to commit mail and wire fraud.

Wark faced up to 30 years in prison and a $1 million fine. Justice Department lawyers recommended the lighter sentence, citing his cooperation providing information and testifying against numerous other suspects charged in the case.

Can't point out a half truth, eh?

You've turned into a sort of carpfart. Shame, that.

Meanwhile I've been going through my third cancer surgery in two years and my mother died. That'll get me banned???

Chris Christie Makes Big Admission On Climate Change
http://thinkprogress.org/climate/2015/05/10/3657144/christie-climate-change-is-real/

New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie admitted that he thinks climate change is real and that humans contribute to it at an event in New Hampshire last week.

But Christie, a likely 2016 Republican presidential candidate, also added that he thinks the degree to which humans contribute is questionable, according to MSNBC.

“I think global warming is real. I don’t think that’s deniable,” he said. “And I do think human activity contributes to it.”

Christie also said that the U.S. or a single group of states “can’t be acting unilaterally…when folks in China are doing things to the environment that we would never be done in our country.”

If he wasn't toast before, he's toast now. Stopped clock, good on ya Gov.
