Why Venezuela?
Why did the republican neocons slander Venezuela in the political rhetoric during the 2020 election?
Venezuela supposedly meddled in our election according to Rudy Giuliani and a bunch of other conservative talking heads. We now know this to be a blatant and outright lie, but the reasoning for a motivation to tell this particular lie still lingers.
Why Venezuela? Why not some other unsuspecting country to fabricate this big lie with?
Consider that nearly every lie that comes from the republican party is to divert attention from crimes they themselves are guilty of. Surely Trump did not reach out to Venezuela for help to subvert democracy in this country and get turned down? This big lie was certainly the brainchild of Trump, or one of his immoral cohorts. We can only speculate as to how many possible enemies of the US Trump reached out to for help to try and wrest our country out from under the pens of unsuspecting US voters.
Did Venezuela refuse to do Trump’s bidding? Why the smear? And why would Republicans want to befriend and insult such a valuable oil rich ally like Venezuela? You know how drunk they are over oil. This is tantamount to them accusing the NRA of trying to steal Christmas! BTW, Happy Holidays (President's Day)!
Accusing Venezuela is such a turnaround for them. Or is it? Perhaps it was not the republicans pulling the strings?
Who hates Venezuela the most? Well, maybe other oil and gas producing countries? Russia?
If Russia could turn the entire republican party against Venezuela who would stand to gain? Then we have a, “come to mama” moment where the fake news fed republicans dash madly into the arms of mother Putin…
Trump was doing Putin’s dirty work right up to the very last moment of his pathetic presidency.
We probably have Venezuela to thank for telling Trump go jump in the lake (to put it mildly).
And it seems Venezuela is eager to cozy up with Biden. For good reason, Biden is honorable and forthright.
Is there something more here? Did Trump fancy himself as a neo communist leader styled after Venezuela? (Consider that Cubans in Florida the next time you fill in the dot voting for another republican.) Imagine Trump's disappointment when Venezuela told him he did not measure up to their expectations. Even communism has “some” ethical standards.
One wonders if the republicans had their eye on Venezuela, even during the Obama administration? All that oil, it is hard to imagine republicans not salivating over the chance of getting their greedy fingers all covered in it. Their dreams of polluting another endangered wetland and all… But, I guess they were forced to go the route of deregulating railways with Trump. That has paid off for them. Putin can now claim another ecological disaster in the US under his belt.
Behind this charade we had Putin all along directing the chaos to suit his needs and the republicans obeying his every whim.
What kind of evil plans are they cooking up even as we read?
We know for sure; it will not be pretty and innocent people with be blamed to distract from the real evildoers themselves, and their puppet master. Will Fox News go along just to get ratings again?
Consider that, oaths of office were instituted to combat treason and political treachery against the state. Too bad our supreme court has been infiltrated by the enemy. We have Mitch McConnell to blame for this in not letting Obama appoint judges. Democracy should not go unregulated.
The voting booth is the only weapon we have left to save our union. Truthful public information is imperative! Not resumes filled with bold and outright fabrications and distortion of truth. We can see now why our elections are under attack by these very enemies of our sacred democracy. To overcome this threat to our country, it will require a free press focused on fact and not fortune.
(Cuba probably told Trump to get lost as well.)
