She's doing 40 years now. She was a troubled woman who went through several abusive marriages and turned to religion to get herself on the right track. Apparently it worked for awhile, she went to college and became a lawyer, then she fell apart. She took pictures of her 14 year old daughter having sex with men, probably many times. Sad story, it wouldn't surprise me if she was acting out things that happened to her at that age.

I realize you want to make a point, but this is just a tragic story all around.

Perhaps if she had not responded "in her recovery" to hate on gays she might have found a real conscience in time. I have very little pity for her.

I pity her daughter and the gays she persecuted.

Republicans need to stop blaming the victims.

She is terrible but for a good reason, is not always a good defense for these actions.

Had she not spent her time hiding her hypocrisy while she persecuted gays in court I might be more inclined to see your point.

She tried to make money on the suffering of gays while she was abusing her daughter...

Many of those 30% republican baby boomer voters are over the age of 70 and may be dead by next November.

The dems have the millennials graduating high school and fairly well educated on the progressive issues and signing up to vote.

And dems come and vote in droves on presidential election years.

Trump will alienate many of his low IQ voters over time too with his flippant and divisive big mouth.

Housing prices are the greatest impediment in society. Landlords claim the rents are so high because of taxes... Banks also help inflate housing prices and are perhaps the worst culprit by granting mortgages at high interest rates. Real estate brokers also inflate the prices. Banks speculate foreclosed houses to artificially inflate prices even more to create a housing bubble. If people did not pay so much for a roof over their head they could reinvest this money into the economy and pay for higher education for their kids and afford quality healthcare. Housing prices are the greatest detriment to our economy. TC

Exactly it. The Republican Coalition is the Reagan voters who get less and less each Presidential election cycle. The Democratic coalition includes young people and minorities, who are comprising a bigger and bigger and bigger slice of the electorate. So far, the only reason the Republican party is keeping alive is that they own the midterms and off-year elections, but that can't last long.

The idea of Democrats taking this election off and letting the conservatives have the country for four or more years is ridiculous, the Democratic consensus is growing. All that remains is to expand it into the midterm elections, which will happen as these new voters get more and more accustomed to voting.
