People itching to head to Parler because "freedom of speech", be advised your "freedom" includes not being warned that something shared with you from a "trusted source" is a faked or manipulated image or otherwise completely made up BS, but enjoy! Parler is where Twitter and Facebook were before POTUS started treating them like "media" and not just "social media" and forced them to consider some fact-checking policies lest they get held responsible for mass hysteria and spreading false information. Of course, Trump himself isn't on Parler... yet... so maybe your rights to unfiltered **** streams will be good for a while.
When you remember that "Freedom of speech" doesn't mean you can falsely shout fire in a crowded theater without consequences, maybe you'll understand the thinking of putting warning labels on some posts.
Also.. the uproar about Facebook removing groups trying to organize mass exodus from Facebook... um.. wow. shocking. who would have predicted such an outrage. yup.
