that's a perfect example of the falsity of your claims. progressives were never part of stalin's operations. Conservatives, on the other hand, WERE part of Hitler's.

I am still trying to understand the political culture that was established by the huge numbers of killings that occurred under both Stalin and Hitler. There were slave-labor death camps used by both regimes, so a culture of fear was established both to discipline political solidarity/acceptance of the Bolshevic/Soviet political-culture AS WELL AS to discipline solidarity to the political-culture and values of national socialism.

It is wrong to link all conservatives or all progressives to either nazism or bolshevism, because many if not most people on either side of the political spectrum would rather hash out their differences in a peaceful democratic discourse than to escalate ideological conflicts to the point of terrorism/war and/or other subversive guerilla tactics.

The problem is that conflict tends to escalate from the ideological level to more physical manifestations if people don't take the liberty to resist violence and/or provocations that lead to violence in others.

It's always easy to blame the other side for either provocation and/or reaction, and thus provoke further fighting. That is why wars are so hard to stop. Ceasefires are often ignored, and violent exchanges resume.

The war between bolshevism/stalinism and nazism seemed to end after WWII, but the cold war actually persisted until the point people were so tired of it, they pretended it was ancient history, but the fundamental political differences remain, and there is still plenty to react to for both sides of the ideological divide, which gets interpreted differently by each side in order to blame the other.

The question is when will people on both sides start trying to understand the perspective of the other side without immediately attacking it as ideological false consciousness of the problems? We don't have to validate perspectives we disagree with by understanding them, but we can understand why they resist seeing things in the way we see them and strive for communication that at least recognizes each others' perspectives outside of any critiques we might have of them.

I have been saying that for years. So many Leftist memes posted here are complete failures. Another unpleasant fact they will not accept. Not accepting a fact does not change a fact.

A hacker group that stole 756 gigabytes of data from one of the top US entertainment law firms doubled its ransom to $42 million and threatened to release "dirty laundry" on President Donald Trump if the money is not paid, Page Six reported on Thursday.

The hacker group originally asked for $21 million not to release the information it claims to have stolen, and it’s since upped the ante.

On Thursday, the group doubled the ransom and threatened to leak damaging information on Trump, Page Six reported.

"The next person we'll be publishing is Donald Trump. There's an election going on, and we found a ton of dirty laundry," the hackers said, according to Page Six.

They added: "Mr. Trump, if you want to stay president, poke a sharp stick at the guys, otherwise you may forget this ambition forever. And to you voters, we can let you know that after such a publication, you certainly don't want to see him as president ... The deadline is one week.

Again, this might be nothing. Could just be a bluff. It’s probably just a bluff. And hacking is illegal. And enthusiastically accepting hacked information is at the very least deeply unethical, as anyone other than Donald Trump and pretty much anyone who’s connected to him or supports him surely knows.

But this would be pretty ironic, huh?











Again, this is deeply disturbing and very concerning. I do not condone this, and I believe anyone who would disseminate or encourage the dissemination of hacked information should be ashamed of themselves.

I’m just sharing a story that’s currently in wide circulation.
