You got that right, my mother knew she had the ability to take care of her children. So it is very unlike my mother.

What is your mothers excuse? I also notice how you love to bring family in to your posts regularly. Why is that?

Father of Oregon School Shooter Speaks Out on CNN: How Did He Get So Many Guns?
by Josh Feldman | 11:31 am, October 4th, 2015 video

The father of the Oregon school shooter spoke out on CNN yesterday about the tragic shooting and his son being able to get his hands on over a dozen weapons.

Ian Mercer, the father of Chris Harper Mercer, spoke to CNN’s Ryan Young and said his heart goes out to the victims’ families for the loss they’ve suffered.

Mercer did speak at some length about guns, wondering how his son got them in the first place and saying he had no idea he had any weapons:

“How on earth could he compile 13 guns? How can that happen, you know? They talk about gun laws, they talk about gun control. Every time something like this happens they talk about it and nothing is done. I’m not trying to say that’s to blame for what happened, but if Chris hadn’t been able to get ahold of 13 guns it wouldn’t have happened.”

Watch above, via CNN.

Complete bullshit, no one can use 13 guns at one time, 2 or 3 is the max. One with a good reload system is the best option for killing the most people.

The American people are so stupid that they will buy anything fed to them if what is being sold fits their biases. 10 seconds of though should dismiss 80% of what we are told. Sadly, we are not worthy of the demands that democracy places with us.

I blame the education system.

Come on BOB!, you are supposed to be old and wise. Try not to be an embarrassment to seniors everywhere.

It isn't your family you bring into your posts. It is a slimy habit you have. Did you pick it up cleaning latrines?

I can insult you under the table, but it isn't worth my time. I own a whoopie cushion smarter than you.

More than 3 times as many preschoolers are shot dead each year than police officers.

"More preschoolers are shot dead each year (82 in 2013) than police officers in the line of duty (27 in 2013)."

the problem is that health care costs too much and because we give way too much health care to those who are about to die. Insurance schemes do nothing to address the problem. What is sanders's plan to address the actuall problems?

Answer: he has no answer, but till his dying breath he will pretend that he does.

Dont expect BOB! to speak truth however.

@hawkeye10,
The problem is that the health lobby charges too much. America spends more per capita on healthcare than the UK, yet you still don't have UHC. It's the robber barons and lickspittles like you that are the problem.

@izzythepush,
Especially the lickspittles. Who change their minds once they or theirs get a catastrophic illness or injury.

They're the same ones who bleat tort reform until they get an actionable injury and start interviewing lawyers.

11-year-old Tennessee boy shoots 8-year-old girl over argument about puppy
Source: NY Daily News

An 11-year-old boy in Tennessee shot and killed his next door neighbor, an 8-year-old girl, over an argument about a puppy Saturday, police said.

The young killer, a fifth grade student at White Pine Elementary School, used his father’s 12-gauge shotgun to fire at Maykayla Dyer from inside his home around 7:30 p.m., WRIB reported.

The little girl, a third-grader at the same school, was hit the chest and died in a hospital, police said.

Neighbors said the senseless shooting was sparked by the girl innocently declining to let the boy playing with her dog.

This Is Not OK America: "More preschoolers are shot dead each year than police officers"

More preschoolers are shot dead each year (82 in 2013) than police officers are in the line of duty (27 in 2013)
Nicholas Kristof

..........

First, we need to comprehend the scale of the problem: It’s not just occasional mass shootings like the one at an Oregon college on Thursday, but a continuous deluge of gun deaths, an average of 92 every day in America. Since 1970, more Americans have died from guns than died in all U.S. wars going back to the American Revolution.

When I reported a similar figure in the past, gun lobbyists insisted that it couldn’t possibly be true. But the numbers are unarguable: fewer than 1.4 million war deaths since 1775, more than half in the Civil War, versus about 1.45 million gun deaths since 1970 (including suicides, murders and accidents).

If that doesn’t make you flinch, consider this:

In America, more preschoolers are shot dead each year (82 in 2013) than police officers are in the line of duty (27 in 2013), according to figures from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the FBI.

Cheer up, it isn't the police shooting them.(which I am surprised you don't claim) Why doesn't the story say where and how these preschoolers are killed, or shot. Is it drug addicted parents? Are they accidents? Most likely drive bys by the poor oppressed gang members in our society.

Quote:
The gun lobby argues that the problem isn’t firearms; it’s crazy people. Yes, America’s mental health system is a disgrace. But to me, it seems that we’re all crazy if we as a country can’t take modest steps to reduce the carnage that leaves America resembling a battlefield.

From your link. The US is not a battlefield. Islamic countries are battlefields.

Police in California Killed More Than 610 People Over 6 Years

http://www.theatlantic.com/politics/archive/2015/10/police-in-california-killed-more-than-610-people-over-6-years/407326/

Whites were killed at 78 percent the rate one would expect if killings were distributed evenly across the state’s population. Hispanics were killed at 115 percent the expected rate, while blacks were killed at 280 percent the expected rate
