I'm wondering if anyone elses cat does this.

Of course it's recognizable a cat is angry, scared etc if they put their ears back.

But roland does this thing sometimes where he lays his ears kinda sideways on his head, flat against his skull.

He does this when he's supremely relaxed and cuddling with me.. He's obviously delirious with joy at these times.

It makes him look like a very young kitten, before their ears pop up.

@chai2,
Kind of like a Scottish Fold? I don't recall having seen this.

@roger,
mmm, sorta. His ears are straight, so they kinda just lower horizontal to his head, but not back, like if he was mad.

We were just watching a movie together, and he was purring away, dreamy eyed with his ears down like that. Definately happy.

I guess that just an idiosyncrasy with him.

@chai2,
Prolly. I've had cats around for my entire life.

By the way, I'm okay with cats hissing and other displays. If they growl, I keep my distance.
