Damage to Gas meters and piping was problematic the last few days. Buildings had to be evacuated. Please take time to insure your gas meter is uncovered. Also if there are large icicles hanging above them, carefully knock them down.

Pictures from my cousin on his way to work this morning to unbury South Middle School with his bobcat.
He moved there from Boston. He knows of what he speaks...and jokes about.
And I remember hellacious ice storms/blizzards and -20+ temps as I did my almost 2 mile paper route in Rockford Il over 4 years, but I have enough class to not make fun of others living it when I have not lived through a hard winter in a long time.
I surely wish I could get forecasts on US 550 between Bloomfield and San Yskidrow. I'm stuck with checking Albuquerque and Farmington, averaging them out, and multiplying the snow and ice factors by about 8.
