how can i stop being so blunt

Let me know and I'll follow suit. Some times people are who they are. Sometimes many love them for their honesty...not their insensitivity...there's a difference. Some people are lovingly honest...and can't be anything than that. Let me know if you've been ever able to be other than that ....I bet you're as loyal as they come. Pm me Kitty if you have doubts.

I am from the south of England, and my partner is a "blunt Northerner". She is such a refreshing change from all the mealy mouthed people who only say what they think you want to hear.

Seems to me that the best way to start would be by making sure you are being blunt when you are "being blunt"...and not just being unnecessarily rude or nasty.

I'm certainly not saying you have that problem...I do not know you. But those things often get mistaken for each other, especially by people who are troubled that others think them to be "too blunt."
