Why are the police shooting at anyone with a gun if they aren't engaged in a crime?
The NRA should be all over this defending that kid.
I thought that too, at the beginning,
but the possibility occurred to me that he might have pointed it
at the police officer who killed him.
IF that happened, then that woud explain the reason
that he did it so quickly, but if he did
NOT aim it at
the police officer, then the officer was grossly foul and rong.
Technically, decedent did not have 2nd Amendment protection,
because it was not a weapon; the 2nd Amendment protects
only possession of weapons. I will admit that many of us
in the defensive freedom community do
not begrudge laws
against
brandishing, which is what he allegedly was doing.
In good faith, I 'm not entirely sure that the Authors of the Bill of Rights
intended to protect mindless brandishing. I 'd never claim for myself
any right to point my guns at anyone, except for defensive reasons.
I don t remember whether Ohio is an open carry State.
