I am totally sure that your style is fabulous Osso!
OssoB - if any has a personal sense of style, it's you. No doubt about that. You are no one's carbon copy - you have style!
Well, yeah! It is, except when it's not...
But, thanks for the vote of confidence!
Mine is like an allergy headache but all over, not only the sinuses. Excrutiating when I cough or shake my head. It's January and cold, wtf is up? My housemate went out to get some Chinese carry out, screw the MSG, I'm hungry.
I couldn't move my head yesterday. I took an antihistamine, which didn't make things worse, and might have helped a little. My manager told me (when I called in) that he'd had the same thing on Wednesday and that caffeine made his headache go away. <shrug> Whatever this was/is, it's not nice at all. I was quite dizzy, and kept hitting the doorframes in the house when I had to walk anywhere.
It's only my head. No body aches or weakness or fever.
That's the nasty bugger. I usually kinda toss my head to get my hair out of my eyes - not yesterday. It made my head hurt, and made me dizzy. MUCH better today.
I had a severe headache when I got up this morning. Tried NSAID, special herbal tea, and decongestant. It finally went away around 3:00. I almost never get headaches, so this must be..... a conspiracy! Chemtrails!
Zane, I've got your dark room...
Grey yoga points with skin cream stains on 'em. The orange undershirt. A really nice pink Gap polar fleece vest that I glommed at Goodwill. Black leather clogs.
Doin' some laundry so I should be much more presentable soon.
Still in my robes and sweats, Mrs. Nation sleeping way late, breakfast at two today or maybe brunch or maybe not.
How many robes are you wearing, Joe?
Is it that cold in NYC?
Sorry, robe and sweats (black with pockets). It's 33F in New York, very clear and crisp.
Jeans, black t-shirt.
Went on the mother of all shopping trips yesterday -- snagged some great cheap stuff for sozlet but that perfect skirt is elusive. Went to gap banana republic ann taylor max studio (where, interestingly, the same items I'd seen online were double in price) anthropologie limited (bleh) ann taylor loft. Forgot jjill, though it was there. (Easton Town Center for Columbus types.)
I did get something at Ann Taylor that I soured on -- way cheap (about 90% off, $12), good length, interesting fabric (wool & silk), fit well, but the print (actually jacquard) wasn't what I was looking for. Shades of gray, the silk gave it a sheen so sort of silvery. Too fancy/ new years' eve-y. I have two other fancy skirts I never wear, going for something I'd actually wear.
Totally saw what littlek meant about Anthropologie being a rip-off. Website was much more encouraging than the store. Everything in the store that I liked, I'd look at the price tag and scoff.
Looked closely at construction though, got some ideas.
