Top: White bead rose hatler from Oasis.
Bottom: Dark blue boot cut jeans from Giordano.
Footwear: White tennis shoes.

the things hangin' off my necklace look more like little metal paisleys
Very nice!!
I have a big interview next week and have been scoping out interview clothes -- it's fun!! A part of me definitely misses dressing for battle every day. (If I get the job [ififififififififif], I'd have to be professional but could be artsy/ boho too.)
Although interview clothes in horribly hot August are a little tricky. Suit? I got a really nice crisp white button-down shirt, 3/4 sleeves with French cuffs that fits great, will probably wear that with something (skirt more likely than pants) and new heels.
Not half as chic in my neck of the woods!
: Bright red fleecy pyjamas, bulky white socks & my big fluffy blue slippers!
Sorry to lower the tone.
I had to attend a meeting mid-day where I was the only non-lawyer. Figuring that outfit out was interesting since I realized at the last moment this morning that I couldn't wear a casual Friday outfit.
Quick quick quick what to wear.
Can't get easier than a black shift dress under my spiffiest white jacket.
My SERIOUS black and white rimmed glasses really worked with the outfit.
I love the two green bags I got in NY in April - they make every outfit just pop.
<stumbles in, slightly awake> Hey, look at all the nekkid folks!
Hey! It's Mr. Gorgeous!
Missed seein' ya around, Zane.
How is Chicago?
Had any popcorn?
Hi Chicago boy!
Forgot to record my interview outfit, finally one worth recording. Wore a fitted black jacket in really soft cotton twill with some crisp detailing over a chocolate brown fine-wale t-shirt (usually I'd wear something with more contrast but it was an interview I needed to sign for, and a more solid field with hands as contrast is better), a mermaidy lined silk chiffon skirt with a chocolate brown background and a sprinkling of large abstract flowers in cream, cafe au lait, and black (mermaidy because it dips lower in the front and back, a bit higher at the sides, lower calf/ almost ankle at lowest and maybe 5 inches below the knee at highest), and some brand-new very elegant Italian black leather slingbacks with a closed toe and cut-outs showing some toe cleavage, ~2.5 inch heel.
Plus simple silver necklace and Indian silver earrings with pearl dangles.
Had to meet a lot of different requirements (the background for signing thing, the weather, professional but not too flashy [I researched what people I'd be interviewing with tended to wear, black black and more black], but didn't want to just wear a black pantsuit and be done with it). Anyway, was fun to assemble and wear.
Sounds verra verra nice - though I'm so tired I initially thought the weather requirement thought it meant you were auditioning to be the local meteorologist.
Heh!
It's been wicked hot, but I had to figure out something professional (i.e., a tank prolly wouldn't do), and then it actually was cool and rainy that day, thank goodness. Though, furthermore, it rained before I was there and after but not while I was outside -- not a drop on my new shoes. (Originally over $80 for $14.99!!) Hope I didn't use up all my luck on the weather. And the shoes.
I am wearing a simple cotton dress, yellow in color, with white flowers. Also, a tophat.

So you DID get the memo...
MY brand new GREEN Converse All-Stars, lowcut.
Punk as f---!
Charcoal gray ribbed knit rayon/spandex kneelength chemise with dark magenta lace trim at the v-neck and v-back. Gray sandals, long silver rectangle earrings.
I like wearing sleepwear and pretending it's a dress.
<sigh!>
My uniform, as usual.
black pants
black platform sandals
pink v-neck t with flowers embroidered front and back - the word love is embroidered into the flowers on the back
crocheted skinny cardigan in 3 or 4 shades of pink
