Every one should have a tunic or two. Especially if you're travelling.

Sheer turquoise one with sequins and beads caught my attention recently. Probably high maintenance but very pretty.

Work clothes: Old blue pants two sizes too big with paint stains and bleach spots. Thin green stripe blouse, with tomato stain blotting the front, where I was cooking earlier (making great crock pot bean soup)
lots of soil stain from Miracle grow... digging in the bag filling pots.

black dress pants with one of those chain-link belts (one of my Canal Street HOORAYS!)
long sleeved pink t-shirt with a sun-burst in clear sequined beads

took off the pink/apricot/cream tweed jacket (the links on the tabs in the back match the belt)

took off the black and white tweed shoes and put on black loafers

It was a very urban look today. I can hardly wait for Friday.

Gotta get to Canal Street.

I'm wearing dark olive green capris (new from EB outlet) that fit GREAT -- so fun when you get off-the-rack that happens to fit like a dream. Pink 3/4 sleeve shirt, darker pink hoodie. Earrings I made. Went to the way cool bead store today to get more jewelry stuff (I'm on a bit of a tear, but it's so cheap -- I have made or am about to make 5 COOL pairs of earrings for a total of about $15) and the super cool tatooed gal there had the exact same sandals as me, so that gave me a little urban kick myself.

It's warm enough for capris?

<sigh>

I'm envious.

A t-shirt I bought for 3 dollars at a truck stop in lower Alabama.

It says, "United States Marines" at the top. Ironed on is a gigantic tank with huge missiles attached to it. They look like light sabres. It looks like some serious "shock and awe" is about to ensue. At the bottom, the shirt reads "Defending America's Freedom."

I got some funny looks when I wore it, even in lower Alabama. Do I radiate irony? Why can't I fool anyone?

It's seriously the most frightening t-shirt I own.

The Kool-Aid smile is never ironic.

Did anyone see what Saddam Hussein was wearing in the news today?

Charcoal pants with pink pinstripes. White woven cotton tank top with white embroidery and cake-like layers. Makes no sense unless you're looking at it. Silver initial pendant. And my signature fragrance.
