I love Indian music! (Not Indian either) I tend to feed the sorrow and listen to sad-sounding songs, soon afterwards I perk right up. Weird.
I'm not gonna lie--- The Rocky theme song still gets me all riled up-- it pumps me up in some weird way....
Almost all music lifts me up in some way. I have a large variety of music at home. Even a sad one lifts me because it puts me in-touch with a part of me nothing else can.
The only music I don't like is Heavy Metal. Too violent, and noisy.
You'll Never Walk Alone - Gerry And The Pacemakers... even though i'm not a Liverpool F.C fan lol
Awwwww.....so many tunes I could pick for this thread. But the top 10 ones that come to mind are:
1. Chuck Berry's "No Particular Place To Go";
2. The Beatles "I Feel Fine";
3. The Rolling Stones "Honky Tonk Woman";
4. The Beach Boys "California Girls";
5. The Band "Up On Cripple Creek" (Live version);
6. REM "Shiny Happy People";
7. The Velvet Underground "Who Loves The Sun?";
8. Eric Clapton "Cocaine";
9. Little Feat "Fat Man In A Bathtub"; and
10. Van Morrison "Straight Through Your Heart (Like a Cannonball)".
Iron Maiden always cheers me up!
My thoughts exactly......I think i'm just gonna hafta listen to a couple of those right now!
