When you're down, what music lifts you back up?

I love Indian music! (Not Indian either) I tend to feed the sorrow and listen to sad-sounding songs, soon afterwards I perk right up. Weird.

Almost all music lifts me up in some way. I have a large variety of music at home. Even a sad one lifts me because it puts me in-touch with a part of me nothing else can.

The only music I don't like is Heavy Metal. Too violent, and noisy.

2. The Beatles "I Feel Fine";

3. The Rolling Stones "Honky Tonk Woman";

4. The Beach Boys "California Girls";

5. The Band "Up On Cripple Creek" (Live version);

8. Eric Clapton "Cocaine";

9. Little Feat "Fat Man In A Bathtub"; and

10. Van Morrison "Straight Through Your Heart (Like a Cannonball)".
