Sounds like Isaac Hayes' very unique and conceptual version of "Something".

There is something to be said for miserable music to uplift you. It's like, "heh heh, suckers...yer worse off than me."

Listen to it and you will understand
You don't play a Les Paul by any chance?
What is the connotation behind that question, panzade?
I like to listen to Areosmith, or Queen. They both are really good bands and they really seem to cheer me up. And if that doesn't work I'll make up my own song, or sing a song that pops into my head first.
Rei+Kei's adress is humbucker, a pick up used on Gibson Les Paul guitars.

humbuckers uh, buck hum. but i really like the smooth response on the old soapbar pickups. had a '66 sg junior with one and it was just so smooth and foxy soundin'
Bob Marley songs always lift me up. But sometimes they're just to cheery and make me feel like i should be more upset than i am after I hear them. Pink Floyd seems to help, especially the song 'money'. and led zeppelins houses of the holy also is good to make you feel better. The best of all for me is make yourself by incubus. that album is excelent from start to finish.
sh*t man, the donnas. how ya gonna feel bad with that going on ?
Just gettin into the Donnas. Their guitarist is featured on the newest Guitar magazine.
