Stone ages is right Walter.

Karzak
Maybe that's your truth, but it certainly doesn't apply to the people who are NOT bullies. I feel like I'm back in school, with the exception of not being a afraid to walk the halls.

I'm not a bully, but meekness and fear is not worthy of respect.

Fear is what keeps us from walking in front of a moving car...or sends us to the doctor when we start urinating blood or running a high fever.....only the lower species are without fear...the reptile brain types......overcoming fear is worthy of respect...not having it is f*@king stoopid......not knowing it even stoopider........

As far as meekness goes....talk to Ghandi or MLK or Jesus and I think most would agree they showed more courage in their meekness than any hot air blowing man's man on these threads has ever even imagined......

Meekness combined with courage and conviction.....fear combined with the courage to overcome it....some of the noblest of qualities...and the rarest...

You should have worded that by saying that they are not worthy of your respect, since you are obviously not speaking for others.
On that note, I think I can safely say that I don't have your respect since I do have some fears in life, although you may respect me just a little for standing up to all the bullies that made my school life a living hell, but you save it for someone who wants it, ok ;-) I wouldn't want to be respected from a person such as yourself, since so far, I haven't a shred of respect for you.

Have a nice violent day ;-)

No, because even though you can give them your respect, they are still; not worthy, just as I can give a bum a dollar.

You don't get respect from being meek and fearful, you do get respect for handling situations and not running from them.

It is how you handle your fear that makes you worthy of respect.

LOL, there is no backpedal.

You choose to be weak or you choose to be strong, those that choose to be weak do not deserve respect.

Hmm, ever heard of the chap, Bear mentioned him already, called Jesus (he's the one, who founded the Christo-Judaic heritage):

"Bless Those who are Weak"

Show me where he's speaking for himself. When he says "the weak don't deserve respect", he in fact should be saying "the weak don't deserve his respect", if he is in fact speaking for himself.

You guys must be buddies McG ;-)

Well, I do find myself agreeing with much that he says. I may have run into him at the last Right Wing Conspiracy meeting.
