@chiblake,
Nope.

Code:I prefer gaming over TV.
I like gaming better than TV.
My preference is gaming over TV.

@chiblake,
Little regard for capital letters. Token (and poor) regard for correct punctuation.

"I am preferable to gaming than TV, is this correct?"
Try:
"I am preferable to gaming than TV." Is this correct?

It's one thing to rubbish your friend ,when….

Good'n, Baz. Of course "over" would be better than "than" then

@Bazza6,
i'm not concerned about his grammar or mine for that matter.

its the fact after 3 english teachers said that the wording is incorrect and he is still adamant that he is right.
does his sentence mean gaming prefers him over tv?

His sentence has no meaning whatsoever. It is nonsense.
