question regarding blood type...

1. What is your blood type?
2. Do you feel better eating a mostly-meat diet or a mostly-veggie diet?
3. Do you have any health problems, and if you don't mind, what are they?

I've read about blood types and diet and health, and I'm fascinated... so I just thought I'd try and ask to see if the books have any real basis.

My blood type is 0+ and I tend to eat a balanced and varied diet. I don't have any health problems ( Thank God!).

Type O's do better eating more meat, and less grains. Apprently Type O's are able to process cholesterol, instead of storing it on the walls of arteries.

Type O's have more stomache acid, and are prone to ulcer type problems if enough meat and potato type foods aren't eaten. Smile

I'm AB negative, which is very rare... I like to eat lots of fish and vegetables, fruit juice and fruits themselves. I don't like fatty things.

A negative

I eat everything, but prefer vegetables and starches to meat, and have an aversion to highly salty foods.

No health problems.

1. couldn't tell you

2. every year my resolution is to eat better, but i still eat a lot of crap

3. probably, but i don't want to know, haven't been to a doctor in 23 years (twice to an emergency for stitches and a hairline fracture in my wrist)

i once amused a co-worker by explaining that i would rather just wake up dead one day than have to worry about dealing with an illness or medical condition

Wow, this is not only good news it explains a lot to me. Everyone is always complaining to me about my diet.

Yet I am hardly ever sick, physically that is, but I am thin with 0 cholesterol and eat things that they say are bad for me. And I started smoking again, sheesh.

So what I think I am hearing is that all I need to do to be truly healthy quit smoking.
