Actor Director Richard Attenborough dies

I liked the actor, but had not really connected the name with the person. I saw him in some good movies.

I saw Great Escape five times, thus he was sort of engraved in my brain - I liked everyone in that movie.




I just ran across this, another actor director died, and this one I didn't know about - but now want to see some of his films:

Plus, good grief, he was handsome. (Oh, never mind - handsome at least back then, but also had directorial talent.)

We've lost a brilliant Labour peer, Lord Attenborough will be sorely missed. Excellent actor from the off.
