Hi - I hope this is something you can help me with. For some reason my new Nokia Lumia 630 is not receiving sms messages from FB. Nothing wrong with phone as messages are coming in from other sources. ISP all ok and checked. FB should be sending me a code in order that I can log into my FB account. I have tried 5 times now and have not received the code. Do you know if this is a known problem. Can anybody help please. Thanks.

Confirmed that you and Facebook are using same email address?
Check the advice here. It looks to be a common problem with that device. Apparently there is new software for it, but you must do a hard reset for it to install and fix the bug. Details at link. Read all before doing anything and backup your data and apps before doing anything.

Thanks Butflynet for the advice. I did not know FB needed by email address to send a text message to my mobile phone. But yes they have the right email address. I will try the Nokia forums. This is my first smartphone and I am locked out of FB already! A little frustrating. Thanks for your help.
