A colleague is trying to create a short hand type URL for his Facebook group so that in flyers he can avoid using the basic gobbledygook link such as this, for instance:
https://www.facebook.com/groups/7x76y299t68444q
One set of instructions he tried to apply is this:
https://socioh.com/blog/shorten-your-facebook-url
However, he is having a lot of trouble with it receiving 'you can't do that' type error messages from Facebook when he tries.
I'm not savvy enough with the ins-and-outs of FB to be able to help him.
Is anyone here the owner of a FB group and familiar with this process of creating a short URL?
