@Moment-in-Time,
What you fail to understand is that these FBI Agents work for ERIC HOLDER.
And the federal prosectuers from the criminal branch are the some of the same ones that were cited for “grotesque prosecutorial misconduct” when, a judge threw out the 2011 convictions of five former police officers who had been found guilty in a civil rights case of killing two citizens and engaging in an extensive cover-up in the days after Katrina.

Judge Kurt D. Englehardt of Federal District Court here declared that federal prosecutors had created a “prejudicial, poisonous atmosphere” in making anonymous online comments before and during the trial at nola.com, the Web site of The Times-Picayune, and ordered a new trial for all five officers.

This division in the DOJ is comprised mostly of rabid liberal idealogues who are anti-police according to a former criminal branch attorney.

If I were Wilson I would be very afraid.

The claim that this particular FBI lab has been wrong in its testimony in just about every case comes from a long huge study conducted by the department of Justice and the FBI (for which I provided a link natch). Since you obviously dont find this to be a " credible source" one must wonder what you would take as credible. Are you waiting for a revelation from God?

@hawkeye10,
No human endeavor where many work at the same institution will ever be perfect. THAT'S A FACT OF LIFE.

Why don't you list the good that the FBI has accomplished for our country.

in these case my opinion that the FBI is known to do poor work, so we should not look at any opinion that may or may not be forthcoming about the quilt of this cop as if it was issued from the Gods on high. The opinion will come from humans, humans who have a long record of being wrong.

Don't pay too much attention to ci on this, Hawk. He is just trying to build up a case that he stands up for the American way...to counter my comments that he tears down our country at every opportunity.

This is some of the first defenses of any American institutions I have heard from him...and although I disagree with you and agree with his arguments...it is almost laughable that he is trying this.

@OmSigDAVID,
I don't care if the kid stole Fort Knox....unarmed kid doesn't deserve death. A lot of white kids smoke weed, do meth, steal and rob people but I suppose we ought to give them a mental evaluation?

He was "un-armed" the way a rattlesnake is un-armed.
If he got into a fight with U,
then U 'd find out how un-armed he was.
He was armed well enuf to successfully DO what he actually did.

I don t understand what u mean.
If thay were arrested for those crimes
and if thay raised insanity defenses, then those defenses
woud have to be evaluated.

I dont see this as a racial case. Slavery was a racial case. This is driven by what Brown DID.
If a white does the same thing tomorrow, then we 'll all be better off
if he ends up the same way.

@OmSigDAVID,
The case isn't racial but the people who take sides made it into one. Such as the whites that side with cop. Or the whites that refer to Brown as a thug. Or the fact that whites fail to try to understand the anger of African-Americans and refer to the reaction of the people of Ferguson as "animals" as the washed up Kevin Sorbo said (BTW he is a so-called Christian).

Taking sides is natural especially if its something you can relate to, but like the Rodney King situation, and O.J and Trayvon, and this situation people especially when a person of color has been perceived to be unjustly harmed, tend to take sides. In regards to your comment a fist and a gun is no match.

What I can't understand is why "African-Americans" have this so-called anger ( so late in the Civil Rights Game ), while other folks of "color", such as Asian-Americans, don't seem to have nor do they express any anger towards "whites" and the American way of life? Asian Americans have the highest medium income of all ethnic groups in the USA and the highest recorded IQ values of any ethnic American group.

How do you explain this?

How about folks like Mr. Obama(50% black ) and his wife (100% black ) ? Have they forgotten their "own people"? Even more striking, Ms. Valerie Jarett ( senior adviser to Obama) and her cousin ( both folks of some "color:), have had little to say ( if anything ) about the Ferguson affair ( or even Chicago's SouthSide baseball team) because they're been too busy enjoying their vacation in Massachusetts to be bothered.

Before you criticize so-called "white people" concerning their feelings about the "black anger" , please explain to me, the basis for this anger in the year 2014.

I might also add, if you want to be "mad " at something, then be dam mad at the savages, who chopped Mr. Foley's head off because the US refused to pay them $149 million. With that in mind, why shouldn't all Irish Americans be pissed off at the murder of a fellow Irish Catholic? That's something to be real mad about....

@Buttermilk,
They can't seem to get it through their thick skulls that a fist is not a gun; no comparison. They believe it's okay to shoot anyone who "seems to be a threat." They have no value for another person's life. How and where they lost this sensitivity must be inborn, and there are just too many in this world that thinks that way.

I'm also asking 'another' question on the same topic. What's the matter? Too difficult for you?

One sided negative reporting on any topic can be found; that doesn't mean you throw out the baby with the bath water.

In my opinion, this insensitivity is cultural. Racism is the DNA of the American culture. Poor whites look with pride down on blacks because blacks, once slaves to whites, is considered inferior and at the lowest rung on the totem poll. What's most far-reaching is the reality many policemen are not college educated and bring with them their "Archie Bunker" cultural stereotype vision.

Unlike other professions, there is no national education standard or requirement for police officers.

http://blog.discoverpolicing.org/uncategorized/do-i-need-a-college-degree-to-become-a-police-officer/#sthash.WDwIRAku.dpuf

Only two states mandate higher education for officers: Minnesota and Wisconsin both require associate’s degrees. Other states require a minimum of a high school diploma or GED.

Thus any of us might run into an undereducated callus ignorant policeman who believe its alright to exterminate minorities, one at a time, specifically African American.

@Moment-in-Time,
I'm not so sure it's one's educational level that makes for a bad or good cop.

There are many well educated people who are racial bigots; I've met some.

I doubt bad or good is based on anyone's education. Even among siblings, some can become violent criminals while the others are good citizens. It might also occur from chemical malfunctions in the brain.

However, I do agree that bigotry is based on ignorance, and the feeling of superiority.

Oh no, on the contrary, I understand very well. There is nothing wrong with my cognitive comprehension. I say GOOD for the FBI working for ERIC HOLDER! Perhaps at long last we will see justice prevail. Thanks for your response.

Yeah...like it did for the cops in New Orleans where the Judge had to throw out the case and have it re-tried because of gross misconduct on the part of the FEDS?

"Hi! Im from the government and Im here to help!"

Likely it is because African American males are perpetually treated like they have just committed a serious crime.

Also likely because many are trapped in a life of poverty that has no future or hope.

Not that I know how to fix what is broken in society, but that is at least what the problem is.

I wish the feds would give some thought to those doctors who killed healthy patients just because they had a "do not resuscitate" order.

At a minimum there should be some professional medical guidelines established to ensure that it never happens again.
