We really don't know...and this thing should not really be tried in the newspapers. But they are trying to make a buck...and anything goes when a buck is up for grabs.

By the way, I do not doubt there was an altercation. I have no idea of who started it...who first laid hands on the other...it could be either Brown or Wilson.

Some pushing, shoving, grabbing, punching undoubtedly were exchanged. It shouldn't have happened, but it did.

After the altercation, it is possible the officer feared for his life...or judged Brown to be a felon and a danger to humanity...so he shot and killed him.

It is also possible the officer was pissed and just used his weapon in anger.

We really do not know.

That is what has to be decided.

Not an easy decision.

I just on the other hand don't want the police officer metaphorically lynched before the facts come out. I do think the police in Ferguson overplayed their hand in releasing the video to the public in an attempt to sway the public before all the facts come out. I wish there was a video of the shooting, wish one of witnesses at scene had their cell phone tapping it. Have they, do you know?

No video of the shooting...just the aftermath. Wilson is in many of the shots.

I don't want to see Wilson lynched or railroaded either. I want a full investigation...and let the evidence decide whether he acted properly...or not.

It may not be conclusive...and if not, he will probably get the benefit of the doubt.

I wouldn't bet either way.

I suspect his life is ruined no matter what happens.

But it is a drama that has to play out without assuming an ending.

that a girlfriend of his called a radio station
and revealed his side of the story, (that after smashing Wilson's eye socket,
Brown walked away and then turned around and charged at Wilson,
who presumably sought to defend his OTHER eye socket)
without denial from Wilson since then.

The only accounts I have seen reguarding the bullets refer to the 6 that hit brown and the 1 in the police car. No where have I seen how many shots in total. Another fact I am waiting for.

THAT is my understanding of his side of the story.

However, I forgot the matter of Brown having tried
to rob Wilson of his gun, but with less success
than his robbery of the cigars a few minutes before.
