If you worry, it should be for their families of the cops, not the criminal(color optional) he/she might arrest.

I was simply in the mood for lighter conversation. Believe it or not, I know some local cops (sheriffs) who are nice and care about families and local communities and try to help people along with their jobs. I just figure it must be different in the big cities or even in the towns where I live in the rougher parts.

Maybe Wilson is innocent but if you cant see that many cops are too quick on the trigger than you are blind as a bat. Something should be done about it beside having to go the civil route to get justice.

American Renaissance is a white supremacist website, which presents a problem for the supposed veracity of the article you copied and pasted in your post. I was inclined to believe the article, but now I'm not sure. Some websites simply are not deserving of serious consideration. For example, I wouldn't believe some claim made against Jews at an anti-Semitic website.

Two newly rolled out rugs at the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office administration building sure looked nice while they lasted.

They were placed at the front entrance-- bright green with the sheriff's bold, yellow emblem.

But there's one major problem.

If you look closely, you'll see a major typo within one of the crests -- "In Dog We Trust."

A deputy working security at the building discovered the error on Wednesday, even though they were placed in the lobby several weeks ago.

The rugs were quickly rolled up and put away today. You have to wonder if the new carpet smell had a chance to wear off.

A spokesperson for the sheriff's office told Action News the error was made by the rug manufacturer, American Floor Mats. The company is currently working on giving the sheriff's office a replacement, according to a spokesperson.

The rug cost $500.

In the end, maybe the rug with the error will truly be for the dogs.

I know coldjoint's post concerning Nigeria was a dig at what they perceive as race baiters but isn't anyone at all discussing the situation anywhere in these threads? I am not good at navigating around this site, so I may not be able to find it, but surely the situation deserves at least a serious mention?

The Nigeria situation is a mess.

The terrorists (Boko Bozo or whatever they call themselves) kidnap children by the hundreds and massacre adults by the thousands.

The government is just as bad. Government troops raid villages and proclaim all men of military age to be with the terrorists (even though the real terrorists always manage to slip away just before the government troops arrive) and then summarily execute them.
