Found a condom

So my boyfriend and I do not use a condom; found one in a drawer where there wasn't one before. All his time off he spends with me. Do I confront? Thoughts? Initially, I'm quick to call it quits. We've been dating a little over a year. My friends tell me not to break it off. But I will not go there and continue to date someone who is possibly thinking about cheating. My ex did it.

Well, you can simply ask him about it. You know, something like "hey, any reason you started keeping condoms around since we don't use them?"

His having this condom could be totally innocent. Maybe he bought some a while back and came across this one the other day and just tossed it in his drawer. You don't know and the only way to ease your mind will be to ask him. Nicely. And in a non-accusatory manner.

Yes absolutely I should ask. I just feel if he 'found' them recently, why throw them in the drawer as opposed to throw them out. :\

These are things you should ask him. Hey, you are having sex with this guy and are assuming that you are exclusive. Why don't you have the courage to ask him about it?

Are they expired condoms? If not then why throw something out. Maybe he's working up the courage to ask you to let him use them during intercourse because he's not yet ready to be a father and he doesn't trust your current method of contraception.

I found some salt packets from a fast food place in the glove compartment of my car, and threw them in a drawer, even though we've got plenty of salt in the house.

Sometimes you just throw something in a drawer.

Yeah, and of course ask him why there are condoms in the drawer. No brainer there.

We do that salt, pepper, catsup thing because while we don't need them, they look too substantial to throw away. I'm a Lutheran and a child of the fifties and I bet you are at least a child of the fifties.

It doesn't even have to do with the fifties.

Our office moved recently. Our work pod had enough condiment packets to stock a mid-size diner for a few weeks. We left them behind in a couple of large plastic bags - the cleaning team grabbed them.

Only one of us was born in the 50's.

Why ask...check the expiration date. If you look in my med cabinet some things have been expired for years Embarrassed

Tacos (we're not talking the Taco Bell kind) are real big where I live.

Wallette, since moving in with us, has contributed lots of cups of taco sauces of various colors to the butter compartment of the refridgerator.

Now THIS is what we call a taco in Austin....

That's nice photo of a double tortie'd pulled pork taco.

But have you been to Tam Deli on about 8000 N Lamarr? Viet Namese/Saigon food. No condiment packages,though.

I don't usually go that far up on Lamar unless I have business or work up there.

I live right off South Lamar, you know, where La Feria is. That's my street.

Of course that means I'm right near Maria's Taco Express.
