True Heroes in the Israeli-Palestinian Conflict.

Peace is always more courageous than violence.

Justifying violence, demonizing the enemy and avoiding responsibility to the deaths caused by your weapons are not acts of courage. Of of these acts are common on both sides of any conflict.

Courage means standing up for what is right against the grain and in opposition to people around you. Denouncing the enemy is easy, opposing the injustice of your own side is not only far more laudable, it is also the only way to a just peace.

I want to start a positive thread, rather than getting angry at the bellicose voices on both sides justifying and even cheering the brutal violence taking place.

These are the people who rise above nationalism and represent the best of humanity.

I hope their voice is heard far more, especially in the US.
