@newstep,
You've asked us for our favorite characters, but you seem to be angling for us to reveal who we don't like too. I won't be lured into that game, although I admit I would dearly love to play.
In keeping with other members who have provided you with a list of former members they miss, I will too. It wont be surprising to some to learn that I don't at all miss the contributions of some of the members no longer posting here, and have made a few people's lists (which of course is not to intend any disrespect to those whose absence in this forum is because they have passed on).
Despite what some would argue, this forum does contain cliques, which can explain why some who I think were horrible people are revered and some who I think demonstrated mainly positive characteristics were castigated.
Early in my career I learned that success in business depended, in large measure, on personal relationships, and the best way to establish and develop and maintain such relationships was to do so face to face. Quite a few of the regular members here have met one another at A2K gatherings and I'm sure this has made a big difference to them in terms of filling out the relationships they developed within the forum. I never seriously considered attending any of these gatherings in part because I just wasn't that interested, and in part because I didn't want the relationships, I've formed here to be anything more than they are. I strongly suspect, however, that if I had met them, I'd think differently of at least a couple of the people I've concluded were completed jackasses based on their participation in this forum.
In any case, in no particular order, the people who I would be very pleased to see return are:
Foxfyre
Occum Bill
Irish K
princesspupule
Asherman
Timberlandko
kuvasz
High Seas
djjd62
If I had a list of all A2K members I'm sure I would add a few more, but these are the ones I can readily identify now.
