A Macon, Ga., man had the most unpleasant of accidents after he accidentally shot his own penis. That’s right. He shot his own penis. Again, in case you did not fully fully get that: a man in Georgia shot his own penis!
According to WMAZ-TV, the accident happened while the unnamed male was attempting to holster his firearm in the parking lot of the Sunoco gas station at 6451 Zebulon Road.
“The man was parked at the gas station at about 9:30 p.m. when he attempted to holster his.45. Immediately after the gun went off, he drove to a friend’s house in Lake Wildwood. When he got to the friends house, he took off his pants and saw that he had ‘shot himself in the penis and that the bullet exited out of his buttocks.’ The spent round fell onto the floor.”
Ouch!
No further details on the most unfortunate of all gun accidents has been released, but The Raw Story noted that accidentally shooting oneself in the penis is actually not unheard of, citing a report from Death and Taxes that says “at least five American men have shot off their penises since 2010.”
While no American examples could be found for this story, one such example of a man shooting off his own penis was reported right here on The Inquisitr last year. According to the report, a Brazilian security guard accidentally shot his own penis using an illegal firearm.
“A security guard accidentally shot off his penis with an illegal gun. After suffering the tragic gunshot wound, the guard now faces criminal charges for the possession of an illegal firearm. The 33-year-old man was found slumped over in his car after a neighbor heard the shot and called for help.
“The Brazilian security guard was bleeding from his groin when police officers arrived on the scene, according to The Blaze. The unnamed security guard was reportedly in possession of a.38 caliber gun and had four rounds of ammunition in his pocket.”
Oddly enough, the report also cited The Raw Story in noting other instances of penises accidentally being shot off in both Arizona and Washington State.
There has been no update on whether the Brazilian man was able to recover from his penis shooting injury and details of the Georgia penis shooting victim were not released. I’ve got a feeling no one would want to admit to this kind of an accident and receive the publicity it undoubtedly will receive.
Arresting this guy is just a slap in the face. This guy's suffered quite enough.
