Dear English Teachers,
could I ask if my following sentence is grammatically correct?Many thanks in advance.
The computer that I bought was spoiled two weeks after the purchased date.

Spoiled while acceptable might not be the best word.

Maybe malfunctioning?

As Bobsal mentioned, SPOILED, is very likely not the word you want, Jane.

Also the passive, WAS ....ED, points to another person, or you, damaging the computer.

Did the computer itself break down or did some person do something to cause a breakdown?
