He is my cousins best friend. I am confused on if he likes me or not.We have talked face to face a few times, we have had a 45 min phone convo., and talked on fb a few times.If I text he replies usually. He seems to always look at me when he gets the chance . If we talk he wont tell my cousin he didn't tell him he added me to fb or anything else. My cousin doesn't want us to date because he doesn't want things to end badly and then have to deal with us. He is trying to keep us apart and his friend came to the door and told my aunt that he knows my cousin doesn't want him talking to anyone else(me). My cousin asked him if he likes me or not and my cousin said he can't get a straight answer. I don't know if he is scared to say or if its because he never had a gf or what. So please help me figure it out. Thanks !!!!

It's possible. Do you feel that you two have chemistry? Because just from what you're saying it seems like he does. I'm sure he is aware (as you've indicated) that his cousin doesn't want you two together (hence your cousin not getting a straight answer from him).

Thank you !!! I feel he does but I don't want to get my hopes up and others think he might. I think he is scared to like me because of my cousin. My cousin can't stand us in the same room and his friend figured it out. He talks to me way more with my cousin not around than he does with him around which was only once and that was at a gas station.

Well if you can, the next time you two talk ask him that is probably your best bet to get a sure answer.

Thanks I was thinking about that because my cousin said he couldn't stand me which he was joking and stuff. I was thinking I would just be like why do you hate me so much and see what he says and how he reacts to the question.
So he TALKS to you? That means nothing.
You both are adults.!! Is there any religious or cultural problem that prevents you from talking to his guy? You should be able to see and talk to anyone you want.
Tell your cousin to back off because you would like to talk to his friend freely.
Tell this friend to get the courage to talk to you in private, if he wants.

Thank you !!!! that is how I am feeling I don't think it is right for him to do that to us all because he doesn't want his friend dating and not getting all the attention that he so desperately desires. Yes he does but not as much when my cousin is around. He is 19 and never been in a relationship and no he is not gay I already thought about that lol. I will try to tell him that the next time I talk to him.

Pesonally, I wouldn't talk to anyone on the phone for 45 minutes unless I was interested in them, or it was business.
