You would not be speaking, period, and you would show no feelings after someone asked you the given question. That is what I've gathered. But secretly you had some type of feelings because you say you wanted to hold your tongue. Holding your tongue would be you being quiet, saying nothing.

I personally wouldn't say anything if I wanted to hold my tongue. I like being silent around others. Or if it is a must I use words I would rather speak of less words than more words.
