Thanks Harry. Your big mouth will turn out more Republican and Tea Party support than in 2010.

Do you have something that proves that argument is not going on?

The only evidence you have presented seems to be what one person blogged about what someone wrote on WND based on what someone argued against the administration in court. It has nothing to do with what the administration is actually doing. It is pink paranoid fantasy.

H/T: Washington Examiner

Justice Department attorneys are advancing an argument at the Supreme Court that could allow the government to invoke international treaties as a legal basis for policies such as gun control that conflict with the U.S. Constitution, according to Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas.

Their argument is that a law implementing an international treaty signed by the U.S. allows the federal government to prosecute a criminal case that would normally be handled by state or local authorities.

“The Constitution created a limited federal government with only specific enumerated powers,” “The Supreme Court should not interpret the treaty power in a manner that undermines this bedrock protection of individual liberty,” Cruz said.

The Washington Examiner is one blogger? Pay attention Shill that was in my post.

@coldjoint,
Read the rest of the article. There is no evidence of the lawyers saying that in court.

The link you posted is to a blogged article. It isn't a news service. It references the Washington Examiner when it did an article on Ted Cruz' speech. Read past that and the evidence they present is nothing. They link to another story they wrote that supposedly shows Obama trying to undermine the Constitution. That story uses WND as their source.

We are not to believe a Senator? Harry Reid doesn't seem to have that problem. Do you happen to have any comments from the DOJ saying that is untrue?

I also don't have comments from you saying it's untrue that you molest children.
You made the claim. It's up to you and Sen Cruz to show it's true. Until you do show me such comments I guess we can assume you are are a lying sack of ****. That seems to be the way you want it to work.

Last week, Secretary of State John Kerry signed a UN arms treaty that opponents say will implement a broad firearms registration scheme and eventually lead to global bureaucrats imposing gun control on the American people in spite of the Second Amendment. Despite the Obama administration’s support for the treaty, it remains to be seen whether the Senate will ratify it.

The Obama administration and other supporters of the arms treaty will likely claim that the Supremacy Clause of the U.S. Constitution places treaties above the Constitution and other U.S. laws as the supreme law of the land. Under this interpretation, they believe they can get around the Second Amendment protections on the right to keep and bear arms.

You can stop denying this is not on Obamas agenda.

Read the treaty. Once again, reality of what is in the treaty trumps your idiotic claims of what you think is in it.

Democratic Socialists of America

Democratic Socialists of America played a role in organizing the CPC, according to Chicago DSA;[11]

Congressman Bernie Sanders has been charging that these bail-outs to regimes which violate worker and civil rights are illegal under a law passed last year by Sanders and Representative Barney Frank, both leaders of the Progressive Caucus in Congress which DSA has helped to organize.

Several past members of CPC have been close to DSA including David Bonior, Hilda Solis, Ron Dellums and Major Owens. Serving Illinois Congressman Danny Davis is a DSA member, while Jan Schakowsky, Jerrold Nadler, Bob Filner, John Conyers, John Lewis and Bernie Sanders all have DSA connections.

According to a DSA flier the organization works with CPC to promote "progressive change."[12]

DSA is an activist organization, not a political party. From promoting single-payer health care, to combating Congress' war on the poor, to proposing democratic alternatives to the power of the transnational corporations, DSA is in the center of struggles to advance a progressive America. This struggle is carried on not only by prominent leaders, but more importantly, through the work of thousands of DSA members across the country.

Since 1982, DSA has been working for progressive change. As a national organization, DSA joins with its allies in Congress' Progressive Caucus and in many other progressive organizations, fighting for the interests of the average citizen both in legislative struggles and in other campaigns to educate the public on progressive issues and to secure progressive access to the media.

According to DSA's Democratic Left, Winter 1996, page 16;

DSA tries to link the U.S. Congressional Progressive Caucus Parliamentary parties of the left in other countries.

In 1997 Chicago DSA member Bruce Bentley wrote;

There is a class struggle in process in the Congress with the Progressive Caucus around such issues as the Welfare Bill, NAFTA and Single Payer Health Care.

As a result of this DSA's Political Director Christine Riddiough organized a meeting with the Congressional Progressive Caucus with the purpose and cogent task as to: "How can we unite our forces on a common agenda?"[13]

Those in attendance included Richard Trumka, Noam Chomsky, Patricia Ireland, William Greider and Jesse Jackson.

According to a Democratic Socialists of Central Ohio, Progressive Challenge, was a national coalition of the Congressional Progressive Caucus, Americans for Democratic Action, NOW, and Democratic Socialists of America[14].

In 1999 the Young Democratic Socialists of James Madison University wrote;[15]

D.S.A. is not a political party, but rather works within the left wing of the Democratic Party and other third parties. D.S.A. is a driving force for the Progressive Caucus in the U.S. House of Representatives (led by Rep. Bernie Sanders, Socialist Congressman of Vermont).

DSA link to other parties

According to Christine Riddiough "DSA supports a 'Better Way',global dialogue that links parliamentarians of the Left, community activists and Non-Governmental Organizations working against the untrammeled rights of corporations to divide and rule. DSA tries to link the U.S. Congressional Progressive Caucus to parliamentarians of the Left in other countries."[16

Parados Socialism is what you want. Here is a list of some people looking to destroy our system of government. Your insidious comments are not necessary.

Goodbye America: Armed Government Agencies, Land Grabs, and Helpless Citizens

Quote:
The EPA descended on Chicken, Alaska with more than 70 federal agents in full body armor carrying M-16s and “assault shotguns.”

“Imagine coming up to your diggings, only to see agents swarming over it like ants, wearing full body armor, with jackets that say “POLICE” emblazoned on them, and all packing side arms,” gold miner C.R. Hammond told the Alaska Dispatch.

I can imagine it because I’ve been to Third World nations.

The other federal agencies participating in the operation were the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, the Bureau of Land Management, the Coast Guard, the National Oceanic and the Atmospheric Administration and the U.S. Park Service.

The EPA denied it was a raid though it was impossible to deny the armor and M-16s.

The government has been raiding gun factories, gun parts stores, and there have been endless land grabs in the name of the environment. The government is cutting down the military while growing the power of Executive Branch agencies. What could go wrong? Nothing to see here.

Oh well, at least we have our weed and our government subsidies.
