A TV show where the good guys never used guns. The only person with a gun was allowed to have one bullet and he kept it in his shirt pocket. David would hate living in Mayberry.

You can't even tell the truth about that. The show he is referring to was" MayberryRFD". And the original was called" The Andy Griffith Show". And Andy grabbed a shotgun more than a few times. The sequel starred Ken Barry.

The Andy Griffith Show took place in Mayberry, NC. The only reference was to the town. There was no reference to the show so both shows would count toward the town.

I am curious which show you think Andy actually used a gun to shoot a bad guy. Please inform us. Or you can inform us where a gun was used to stop a bad guy in Mayberry RFD if you prefer.

Scott Brown Confounded By Republican Who Benefitted From Obamacare
DYLAN SCOTT – MARCH 20, 2014, 10:10 AM EDT

It seems Scott Brown, the once (and future?) U.S. senator, didn't have an answer when confronted with one of his fellow Republicans who has benefitted from Obamacare.

The Huffington Post flagged the Wednesday story from the Coos County Democrat. Brown had met with Herb Richardson, a New Hampshire Republican state legislator, as Brown is exploring a run for the state's U.S. Senate seat.

During the meeting at Richardson's home, Brown called Obamacare a "monstrosity." But Richardson and his wife quickly interjected, according to the Democrat, saying that the law had been "a financial lifesaver."

After being injured on the job, Richardson had been forced to live on workers compensation for a while -- a situation so costly that the couple eventually had to move out of their house. They also had to pay $1,100 a month to keep their health insurance. But now that the Richardsons have signed up for health insurance through Obamacare and qualified for a tax subsidy, they're paying $136 a month for a plan that covers both of them. "Thank God for Obamacare!" Richardson's wife Rita said, according to the Democrat.

The Huffington Post contacted the reporter, Edith Tucker, who wrote the story. She said Brown didn't interrupt the Richardsons' praise for Obamacare and didn't react when they finished with their story. "(Brown) did not (respond)," Tucker said. "You could be sure, if he had, I would have written about it."

That was in a post. Or can't you read. It looks like a reference to me. And something the shill doesn't know all about. You will get over it.

And since I know much more than you on this subject you will have to trust me. Kind of like you trust Obama.

Used them for WHAT?? The scripts never called for self defense
from predatory criminals. I dont remember any burglaries nor robberies.
If there HAD been, I 'm pretty sure that the citizens 'd have been ready.
As shown, it was a place of freedom, with very, very little governmental interference.

Did you really think a shill like that would miss an opportunity to turn the truth inside out?

I just saw an episode in which a thief was caught in the store at night. The shop owner had electrified the cash register. I believe the owner also show up with a rifle. But Andy showed up at the right time and had things under control.

Yes; that disproves Mr. Parados's allegation
that I 'd un-happy and un-armed in Mayberry.

It was Andy Griffith's show; the scripts were to make him look good. Thay succeeded.

The average household income has dropped 4 to 7,000 dollars under Obama.

@IRFRANK,
Of course you prefer Mayberry, Frank. It's a perfect scenario to indulge in the fantasies about the USA that have been your life. The reality is just too hard for you to face. You are hardly alone.

Cya later, Barney.

Businesses owned by their employees outperform their competitors on employment, sales, productivity
Businesses owned by their employees outperform their competitors on employment, sales and productivity, new research has found.

A team from St Andrews, Edinburgh Napier and Stirling universities looked at what they have called the "John Lewis economy" in Scotland.

They said there had been "considerable growth" in the number of such firms.

They identified 45 employee-owned firms headquartered in Scotland, which employ about 2,500 people.

Recent examples of firms becoming employee-owned include AquaScot, Clansman Dynamics, Voice Technologies and Woollard & Henry.

The universities said their study marked the first time Scotland's employee-owned firms had been examined in a detailed way by academic researchers.

Lead author, Dr Ross Brown, of the University of St Andrews, said: "The John Lewis economy is alive and well in Scotland.

"However, it appears that it is small dynamic SMEs who are most eagerly embracing the employee-ownership model in Scotland."

He added: "Scots employees appear to be very successful capitalists and employee involvement seems a very good recipe for the success of these businesses."

Prof Robert Raeside, who also contributed to the study, said: "The performance of Scottish employee-owned businesses is generally superior to their counterparts on a number of different variables.

"In terms of their employment and sales growth, employee-owned firms do better than non-employee owned firms."

@bobsal u1553115,
Why don't you deal with the fact Americans incomes are going down each year under Obama? And your chart is a useless piece of propaganda.
