@coldjoint,
Olbermann is doing sports on CNN staying out of news except for one Meet the Press because he took a $30,000,000 payoff to stay off news for a long time.

You hate Rachel Maddow why? You've never seen her show. What I really like about Rachel is she researches her show really, really well. And she never ever sells a story on fear.

I also like Shepard Smith for much the same reasons. And because calls bs on bs.

The definition of bs is liberalism; it is deviation. It is distortion.
Liberal is a RELATIVE word.
There can be no liberalism without distorting something.

@bobsal u1553115,
The republican members of the supreme court did it again!
Quote:
Justices allow Texas use of new voter ID law

Another example of why our country's politics is broken.
1. There is no proof of voter fraud, and of what little there have been are the result of republicans - not democrats.
2. Voter ID laws only suppresses minorities from voting - who usually vote for democrats.
3. The supreme court justices play politics rather than allow the free-flow of voters to vote.

All they need to do is to make the penalty for voter fraud very expensive ($100,000) and prison time. That will stop all voter fraud - even from republicans!

@cicerone imposter,
In Texas they dont prosecute republican voter fraud. They just investigate it until it dies of old age.

@RABEL222,
They know exactly what they're doing; disenfranchise people who votes democratic through legal loopholes that only republicans are capable of.

And they get away with it with the full support of the supreme court.

All losers. So many christian do-gooders. LOL

and has a good laff at America and gives us the finger.

Supreme Court Upholds Texas Voter ID Law

The Supreme Court on Saturday allowed Texas to enforce its strict
voter identification law in the November election.

The law, enacted in 2011, requires voters seeking to cast their ballots
at the polls to present photo identification like a Texas driver’s or gun license,
a military ID or a passport.

Critics say the law is the most exacting in the nation and would disenfranchise
600,000 registered voters, a disproportionate number of them black
and Hispanic.

@OmSigDAVID,
Yea, they won't let college students use their picture ID cards from school.

Do you really understand why?

@OmSigDAVID,
No, the USSC didn't uphold any law. They merely allowed a law that has been declared unconstitutional by a lower court to be used this election because the majority felt it would be too complicated to change the election at this point. It leaves one to wonder how and why the USSC feels it is better to enforce an unconstitutional law.

@cicerone imposter,
College ID's are not official ID's. You can not use them to board a plane or even open a bank account. They hold no weight with the state. You can use them to get a discount at the theater when buying tickets though.

@Baldimo,
We're not talking about boarding a plane or opening a bank account; we're talking about VOTING. There's no reason to have picture ID's to vote when there's no problem of fraud. Most voter frauds are perpetrated by the very people who wants to deny the vote to college students and minorities.

YOU'LL NEVER GET IT. IT GOES WAY OVER YOUR HEAD.

@Baldimo,
You can't use a conceal carry permit to board a plane either but that is acceptable for voting.

@parados,
It is a recognized state ID. You have to have a background check to get a concealed carry permit. You don't have to have a background check to have a student ID.

@Baldimo,
Why does one need to have undergone a background check to vote? The only qualifications are US citizenship and being of age.
