OK my friends, I'll have a go at being the dasher for the next round. Just give me a moment to go through my grandfather's old tomes and see if I can come up with a DOOZER.

Ok, here's the next word:
CARFAX
Send me a PM with your bluff definition. If you're new to the game, please see the first page for the rules of the game.

I sent you mine last night. Hope you got it, Bib. You're a very eager player. We need someone like you to crack the whip around here and keep the game going at a nice pace. Thank you for providing this service.

Wait a minute- Bibliophile, didn't you post a note saying you were leaving able2know? Are you still there? Don't go until this round is over- better yet don't go at all!

I understand that Bib has passed on the current Balderdash info to Lola. Right?

Would you mind posting a brief list of people from whom you have bluff answers, so we know Mr. Phile gave you ours? Thanks.

Fear not. We play a game that proceeds at a glacial pace. This round in particular, due to circumstances beyond Lola's control, seems to be setting a record!
Perhaps we are spending a lot of time crafting the perfect bluff; perhaps we work for a living and don't have a lot of spare time or perhaps we are looking at the Burpee seed catalogue anticipating Spring.
When you take your turn as Dasher you can try to speed things up. Good luck. Bear with us, please. -rjb-

Hi Y'all...I'm realjohnboy. I enjoyed playing this little game and am going to make an attempt to revive it after the little misfortune
we had.
The new word is THRIP
I'm going to ask one of the more seasoned players to post the rules for scoring etc
If you would like to play, here is what you need to do in Stage 1 of this game. Send me , via private mail (pm), your definition of the word THRIP. The idea is to come up with a plausible explanation that will fool the other players.
In Stage 2...well, we'll get there when and if we get there. For the moment, what does THRIP mean? -rjb-
