It wasn't that witty but it was wittiest.

I'm not sure that it is wise for me to play Dasher, since it takes me
forever and a day at the moment to load this page, but, we can always hope things get better.
We can also hope you english/american people did not learn this word in grade school, but I'll take my chances.

The dashing word shall be: CHAPARRAL

Good luck!

I'm afraid I've heard of it, and what is more, the Americans will certainly know it as well as most other English native speakers... but don't give up, try again!

Ow ow ow...
Well, that's what I was afraid of, but, being the optimist that I am, I'll try it again.
I hope the word RAKIJA doesn't ring too many bells?
If it does, let me know (thanks for the quick reaction Clary)

Good to hear... Laughing Laughing Laughing
So far, Jespah send me a bluff, but otherwise, my inbox remains frightfully empty. If people cannot PM me, let me know in a post, and we'll work something out.

I've now got three bluffs... C'mon guys, the word is RAKIJA, you should be able to come up with exotic and/or entertaining definitions for it, right?

One never knows. The plot thickens.

My money is on Richard Stubbs.

Hello again!

A question... Since I'm too lazy to read through 376 pages of Balderdash posts to see if anyone else has already encountered this, I'm just going to ask it to the current dashers...
Is it ok for people to send in more then one bluff? If we are keeping score not, but, since we aren't (apparently), I see no reason not to...

And, as far as the bluffs go,
I have recieved delightful and interesting bluffs from
jespah, mame, spendius, steve41oo and clary so far... Is anyone else out there interested in sending in a guess?

So far nobody has sent in more than one bluff but if numbers are down, I don't see why they shouldn't. There was an incident where a player was accused of creating a whole new identity just so that he could send in two bluffs but I feel the accuser was a bit paranoid! If you make it clear to people, I think rules can be changed for the better. For instance if spendius wants to be dasher, he could stipulate wit as a criterion for judging, rather than credibility.

What a nice civilised thread this is turning out to be now that we have exterminated all those silly, unworkable rules designed by the lady in the black stockings.

Do ladies in black stockings always devise silly, unworkable rules?

I don't see a problem with submitting more than one bluff, regardless of whether we're keeping score... it's just as if more people were playing.
