Here ya go! Guess, bluff or get caprified! :-D

Caprification

1. Becoming goat-like.

2. The process causing the formation of underwater caves and grottoes named after those found on Capri.

3. The formation of limestone deposits due to vaporization caused by the chemical reaction between sulfur and limestone strata with hot water in geothermal areas.

4. The process of erosion resulting in bare rock strata on the summits of hills and mountains.

5. A term in carpentry meaning a slow deterioration of hard woods over time from natural factors such as rain and snow.

6. The process by which goats and other ruminant animals transform a landscape through grazing.

7. Renovating a place so it becomes a tourist trap, such as Isle of Capri.

8. Indulgence in life's luxuries.

9. To become a litererary and political refuge.

10. The process of enclosing a liquid metal in a glass container.

11. A rare condition which one can catch while holidaying in Capri.

12. The ancient astrogical rite of changing other signs into Capricorns.

13. A form of hunting mice in the Isle of Capri.

14. A method of assuring pollination of Smyrna and other edible figs in which flower clusters of the caprifig are hung from trees of the edible fig, allowing wasps to carry pollen from the flowers of the caprifig to those of the edible varieties.

15. The fossilized head of a half eaten mouse.

16. The act of shortening women's slacks to mid-calf length.

jespah on the point you brought regarding a player selecting their own bluff that is in the rules somewhere I am not sure whether it was in Abuzz or Able2know.

A player can select their own bluff but they do not get a point for it.

As nobody appears to object to ME being the next dasher here is the new simple little word to mull over:

OENOPHILE

Dasher word 'oenophile'
Require a point of order from the oversite committee(who ever the devil they are).

Received two entries on the word "oenophile" who have given the same definition which would give them the full points but their definition which is identical but is not the definitive one listed in dictionaries or lexicons that I have.

What a to do, do we scrub the word and replace it with a new one or continue as is.

looking forward on receiving your advice on this matter Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes
