The largest selling vehicles in the United States are Ford F-series trucks. Our consumer economy depends heavily on trucks, although that's over-the-road transports rather than dump trucks.
My neighbor, also a Frank, died last year. His "baby" was his Ford pickup...a beat up old thing that he used for his "pickin'" He used to collect scrap metal from stuff being put out for pick up...and made some decent bucks doing it.
He so loved his old truck...the beat up old thing was part of his funeral procession.
