Demons may once have had solid physical bodies, but might then evolved into invisible entities, or don't people believe in evolution?
Unlike Ripley's alien which was detected by x-ray, no x-rays or scans can detect demons, but we know they're there because we can hear them speaking through their victims mouth by using him/her like a ventriloquists dummy..

Demanding evidence from science without even questioning your own lack of same is what Id call the basis of hypocrisy.

Maybe watchers like the Chinaman are "angels" (the word can also mean 'messenger'), and this bible verse springs to mind-
"Do not forget to entertain strangers, for by so doing some people have entertained angels unawares" (Hebrews 13:2)

And this one could indicate that when pollution and stuff reaches a predetermined "Extinction Level", we've had our chips-
"The time has come for judging the dead.. and for destroying those who destroy the earth" (Revelation 11:18 )

No one is "dead".
After people 's human bodies have worn out
and molted off, those people judge that incarnate life,
by 2 criteria: Love and Learning.

Aliens are almost certainly not "among us" because we're not important enough for someone to go to all the trouble of watching us or figuring out how to take our form. Aliens are simply animals who evolved on another world, and are most certainly not angels, since angels are fictitious, magical beings imagined by our primitive ancestors. Incidentally, that version of "The Day the Earth Stood Still" is much inferior to the original 1951 version.

The energy expended in normal planetary and galactic interactions so surpasses what we as a "Runaway" species could accomplish on ours. The thesis of the new "The Day..." was idiotic and loaded with Zealous overreaching wrt environmental damage to a "Planetessimal" such as Earth.
We are probably already in the sights of some moderate suns path of a future gamma burst and don't have to worry about one alien superrace acting as a galactic traffic cop.

Letting us alone would be its own punishment.

I've just contacted Gort and he agrees.

That's another thing. Why would anyone name a world killer super robot ,"GORT"?
that's a name you pick for a stupid Golden Retriever.

There are all sorts of angels, some are shining radiant "energy beings", but others are in human form.
Some are big destructive things like Gort in 'Earth Stood Still', nobody better mess with them-

I seen a movie oncet, where the dogs we keep for pets are the aliens. Youse guys might be on to something.

Evidence to support any of these beliefs?

This Star Trek TNG episode called "The Survivors" touches on the theme of powerful beings in human form.
The Enterprise detects a single house on a devastated planet where this pleasant old boy (left) lives with his wife.
Picard offers to evacuate them in case the alien enemy might come back to finish them off but they refuse to leave, insisting they're "quite safe".
Later it transpires that the chap is a being of immense power in human form who has single-handedly wiped out the entire enemy alien race to ensure they never come back.
He reveals his true form at the end (right), he's quite peaceful and has no beef with Picard-
