The banning of 99

I note 99 was recently banned, very rare occurrence on otherwise exceedingly liberal forum so wondering specifically why

Noting more than one similar username, wondering if these are the same folk or whether the similarity might have something to do with the banning

You sure 99 was banned? I think he was the hamster I killed last night while trying to edit a post.

lehi - members aren't going to know if/why/how someone was banned

if you know the poster, you can ask them

if you don't know the poster, you can try using the contact us feature at the bottom of each page and asking the forum volunteers. I suspect that for reasons of protecting members privacy they would not tell you if/why/how someone was banned - but they are the only people who know for sure.

Not had much to do with 99, but I've noticed that they do try to make the thread about them. I think they're just attention seeking especially as they've now started posting on another name.

I thought this thread was going to be about ice creams, so I'm very, very disappointed.

Still curious whether all the various versions of the 99 username are the same individual and if so how escape banning

Here's the crux of the biscuit right here. Hileman is always trying to get people to post their age and their gender. Mostly i suspect it's because he'll judge them on that basis when reading their posts. This, however, had not occurred to me. The use of "99" in the user name strongly suggests that the member was born in 1999. That would make her (if it is a female) 14 years old. Hileman is all worked up over this member's putative banning. I think he'd like to get her to post her picture, or, better yet, post a link to a picture which he can stare at at will.

This clown is a certifiable creep.

How in the world do you know that 99 was banned from the forum? What makes you think that? These things generally are not made public knowledge by the mods.

Sorry Andy and all if I wasn't clear. Recently there appeared an evident Mod posting or equivalent linking indicating that 99 was in disfavor, presumably banned.
