I've read news articles about a robber demanding cash from a bank teller. Does it ever end up with the teller wounded or dead?

Many many years ago, BBB was given a concussion when hit on the head with a gun when the robber of their office didn't think she was moving fast enough to empty the cash drawer for him.

So, yes, people do get hurt by robbers.
