I have always thought that a bumper sticker that read
"Planned Parenthood is neither!"
would be funny. Unfortunately it is now late, and it
doesn't match my politics anyway.
I like a good bumpersticker even when I disagree
with the politics. I would love to have a car with
two sides. I could put my ACLU and Darwin
fish on the left side which would leave room for
my NRA and "Only outlaws will have guns" sticker
on the right.
I don't own a car. I do, however, have two bumper stickers stuck to my ass. One that says: "My other car is a car." The other says: "If you can read this bumper sticker, then I'm sprawled across your windshield, you jerk!"
My car with the Mystery Spot and KEXP: Where The Music Matters (shameless plugs!) had a wee engine fire at N. 39th St. and Aurora Ave. a couple of years ago. The new car is unadorned, except that Kenny from South Park (a skee-ball prize) hangs from the mirror.
There used to be a hula girl, but her head turned green and her stickum wore out. Anyway, she only ever had room to stand up on the Buick dashboard.
Any other useless information accompanied by too much ancillary information you need, or are you about full up?
When guns are outlawed only the government will have guns"
Gives me an idea...
"Guns don't kill people. People kill people.
Guns just make it a hell of a lot easier."
A WETA sticker on the bumper, and a Walters Art Gallery thingy in the rear window.
When I met him, my hubby had an NRA bumper sticker on his pick-'em-up truck. I hated it. So I got one that said "Support Your Right to Arm Bears"...
OOps. I do have a jeep Gr Cherokee with a bumper sticker. The bimper sticker sez
'UNENCUMBERED BY THE THOUGHT PROCESS"
Its a click m clack partial proverb to which I rigorously adhere.

I gave up bumper stickers because I couldn't top the one I originated in the 1970s re Richard Nixon:
"Behind every watergate there is a Milhous."

Got back from Japan on April 5, then attended the San Francisco Gathering from April 8 thru 11. When you gonna attend one of these Gatherings, farmerman? You would have enjoyed the people who were able to attend; osso (Eureka), Diane (Denver), dys (Denver), blatham (Vancouver), Mr and Mrs PDid (Bush country), jjorge (New Joisy), Mr and Mrs ci (locals), and that incomparable and lovely Lola (from Texas). We all had a great time.
Id like to. However I cant count on a schedule break anytime. I have my down time punctuated by periods of frenetic activity, the only problem is I dont know when are those down times, nor can I ignore my frenetic pulses.
"Vote that son of a Bush out!"
I have a shirt that I wan't to get a bumper sticker of:
"Don't make me go Zelda on you!"
'UNENCUMBERED BY THE THOUGHT PROCESS"
That one should be on a lot more vehicles these days, I should think.
"Vote that son of a Bush out!"
Yeah, that too!
CI, are you still posting your travel pictures somewhere? I used to love those!
Dys:
Ahh yes, "Car Talk"s informal mission (as well as trying to get people to reconsider buying SUVs).
All I have is an FCNL sticker that says "War is not the answer".
I need to get something from my Alma Mater and maybe a few others.
My car has a few cambridge parking stickers - so it's definitely liberal.
