The alleged facts have been challenged here for almost fifteen years. The religious doubters have thrown up bullsh*t like this again and again over the yeras--an illegitimate tactic of demanding that such lies be refuted every time a new set of religious doubters show up. This particular set of "facts" includes very few people who are actually practicing scientists in relevant fields. In a post from December, 2005, TimberlandKO links a survey of scientists in earth science and life science, showing that 99.8% of them endorse evolutionary theory. There is nothing more pathetic than sticking one's fingers in one's ears and shouting "la, la, la, la . . . I can't hear you."--while sneering at others for their rhetorical method.

Ah-hahahahahahahahahaha . . . the "la, la, la, la, I can't hear you" taken to new heights. Read Gunga's link again, it refers specifically to a claim by the Discovery Institute (which couldn't discover it's own ass with both hands and a wall chart) made in 2001 . . . Dude.

We can take eaach guys "beliefs" apart, but why bother, theyre all surrounding a catechism of "mass incredulity" fostered primarily by Fundamental religions. (You can do the roll call yourselves)
Even Douglas Axe (one of these 1000 scientists) stated that 'If evolution is wrong Intelligent Design isnt already correct because theres no theory surrounding it. In other words IT "Is derived of religious belief". At least hes more honest


My incredulity is the geologists who profess their beliefs in Creationism/ID. In order to believe as they, their own training, which is based on hands on experimentation and discovery (field work), is denied. To me, that approaches dishonest and is made up of cheap tricks in order to push your religious beliefs.

If you want to pick out a name from these 1000 scientists and see what theyre saying, Id love that .

One of the founders of the self-styled "Discovery Institute" was an Australian geologist who pandered to the young earth creationists on the rubber chicken circuit, but who acknowledged the probable real age of the earth when doing his field work in Oz.

I didnt mention anything about Leadfoots methods of mis-characterization. He claimed I didnt argue facts, only sources, when, if we look at gugas post about the "Skeptical scientists", the entire post was nothing but an argument over sources , no facts.


I keep forgetting that the best way to try to bolster a weak argument is to accuse your opponents of what you are doing all along.

It helps, of course, not argue "facts" at all.

It's also the tactic of people who have seen it a million times before and debunked the arguments and don't want to waste any more time with it. And THAT is what's really happening here, not any illegitimate agenda or diversion.

And you should know better than to even suggest such a stupid thing. Get your act together Leadhead. You can't pretend to be an intelligent resource in these arguments if you constantly undermine your own position with nonsense suggestions like that. If anything, it just demonstrates that you have an agenda because your position is derived from propaganda and because you are smart enough to know better. Sheesh.

From my observation, I agree with the author of the book of Judges who says ‘when God goes anything goes.’
The last verse of the book of Judges Reads ‘there was no king in Israel in those days, Every man did what was right in his own eyes .’ God is to be our king and dictate right from wrong.

I can take criticism and Id like to have you elucidate your actual concerns in some more detail than in short post- glottal phrases. After all, I cant attempt to xplain where youre wrong without you completing sentences to which I can respond.

Ok, I partially agree here, evolutionism, like scientism is illogical and and an ideology all by itself. Yes, humanity is lost. we are going down the path etc,
BUT, you also wrote "Anarchy reigns". This is, alas, very removed from the truth. we NEED Anarchy in this time and age! But then you have up the real mening of anarchy. It isn't chaos etc. It is way more positive. Please look it up.
And about morality, well there is actually one rule in the universe: "don't steal". Everything else can be brought back to the not stealing. We ALL do know right from wrong. No god needed. I am not going into the discussion of there is a god or not, because I don't know. But for morality there is no god needed.

But who is King? Who dictates right from wrong?
Subjects like multiple sex partners, marriage, abortion, homosexuality, porn, srtipclubs, cursing and swearing, transgender, drugs, men wearing women’s clothing, psychics etc. Etc etc.
Who says if these things are good or bad? 7bilion ppl on earth now, and probably no two ppl can agree on all these subjects and more. Anarchy, disorder happens cause such lacking authority. Not good.
God is a God of law and Order. Needed.

And then there is the issue of even though ppl may know some of these things are wrong, like your example of stealing, they still do it anyway. Probably every single person to some degree or another😳
Why? Cause of our sinful nature, which only God can change it seems. Much needed to establish a peaceful, eternal, ‘heavenly’ society. Where Not even the slightest sin can exist, nada. Perfection. NO disorder at all.

Keep in mind, by removing God, (the true God) you and I, humanity becomes God instead ya know? Big reason ppl like the idea/worldview of evolution it seems.
