Why do people deny evolution?

@Quehoniaomath,
There is no proof of evolution to you, because you refuse to see it. All modern dogs are evolved from the wolf, this should be proof enough. Do you deny that dogs exist?

Oh no not again!
So your grand grand grand mother evolved from a rock??

Gee, I thought you to be more intelligent. Sorry for that!

@Quehoniaomath,
No the descendants of the human race are between three and nine million years old. My Grandmothers and Great Grandmothers are all from Hungary.

Hmmm, you even think the dating methods are right?
They are fundamentally flawed and based upon very wrong assumptions.

@Quehoniaomath,
Well why don't you tell us what your dating methods determine the age of the descendants of the human race to be.......

PS. This is where it gets funny.

I have no good dating methods! Neither has the religion called 'science'
That I don't have any, doesn't mean the religion called 'science' is right, of course!
Strange reasoning this is!

@Quehoniaomath,
Well then can you tell us what you believe the age of the human race to be?

PS. This is where it gets really funny.

uh, just to clear up some pooints here. WE are the human race. We have no DESCENDANTS yet, evolutionarily speaking, let alone ones three to nine million years from now. (Well, we do have descendants born every day whose age we can determine from hospital records, but evolutionary-wise, they're pretty much us). Perhaps you are thinking of ANCESTORS of the human race, the most remote of which date back three to nine million years.
Their ages can be reliably dated with reasonable precision by scientific (not religious, Quahog is loopy, we know that) means, which have repeatedly been proven (you can prove C14 dating yourself, Quahog, in any reasonably complete college chem lab, have you ever done that? Probably not, just ranted about it).

Mate, the dating method is NOT reliable at all!!!
So much assumptions are made that it is unbelievable!

re Quahog:
They've been field tested now for 60 years, and they work. As i say, you can test some of the basic principles yourself in a decent college lab. Have you? I doubt it. You just rant.

No, they don't work mate! OR tell me where you base it upon?
Otherwise you are the one ranting.
If I did or did not is irrelevant of course for the simple reason that if that is your argument, that means everything you didn't do in a lab is false by definition!
Please try to use some level of logic!

@Quehoniaomath,
re quahog:
so you get a cheap-ass graphic from a creationist/fundamentalist website in the UK and you think that somehow repudiates 60 years of scientific research and, I might add, ACTUAL FIELD TESTING? You're the one whose reasoning skills need some work.

Oh, you get a whole lot of graphics from creationist websites with the same old tired **** about dating that has already been discussed ad nauseam on this thread, and their contentions have been proved wrong (and Haeckel was a century and a half ago, he was mistaken and proved wrong in the nineteenth century. Hasn't been relevant for more than a century. Drop it as any sort of an example of the theory of evolution).

@Quehoniaomath,
It gets funny when creationist say that the Earth is 5,000 years old, and people do know things. You just believe that everyone is wrong except for you.

I NEVER wrote that the earth is 5000 years old! I don't believe that all.
That being said, I don't think anyone knows how old the earth is.
Someone who does say that is extremely crazy!
